  • Patent number: 6843024
Abstract: A weather strip having a high sealing capability and an aesthetic appearance when attached to a vehicle body. The weather strip includes an extruded portion and a molded portion connected to the extruded portion and having a trim and a hollow seal. The trim includes a first wall from which the hollow seal extends. The first wall has a slot provided with a rounded corner. A second wall extends from the first wall in a direction opposite the hollow seal. A third wall extends from the second wall in a manner opposing the first wall. The third wall includes a cutaway portion defined at a position facing the slot of the first wall. The cutaway portion includes a rounded corner. A core used to mold the hollow seal of the molded portion is removed from the molded portion through the slot and the cutaway portion.

  • Patent number: 6787898
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a semiconductor chip, a first heat sink, a second heat sink, and a mold resin. The first heat sink is electrically and thermally connected to a surface of the semiconductor chip for functioning as an electrode for the semiconductor chip and releasing the heat generated by the semiconductor chip. The second heat sink is electrically and thermally connected to another surface of the semiconductor chip for functioning as another electrode for the semiconductor chip and releasing the heat. The semiconductor chip and the first and second heat sinks are covered with the mold resin such that the heat sinks are exposed on a substantially flat surface of the mold resin.

  • Patent number: 6688761
Abstract: Output of each sensor arrangement is supplied to an ECU through a communication bus line. A value of a turning radius of a vehicle, which is used for adjusting directions of optical axes of swivel lights, is computed based on the output of each sensor arrangement in the ECU. When a majority of the computed values fall within a predetermined allowable range, the majority of the computed values are determined as normal, and the remaining of the computed values is determined as abnormal. The communication bus line is determined as abnormal when none of the output from the sensor arrangements is obtained. An optical axis control angle is computed based on the normal computed values and is used to drive actuators to adjust directions of the optical axes of the swivel lights.
