Abstract: A reeling apparatus for supplying, receiving and storing a section of electrical cable having substantially rigid terminal connectors at the ends of the section, wherein apparatus are provided for releasably securing at least one of the electrical cable terminal connectors with a rotatable reel of the apparatus for rotation therewith as the electrical cable is wound on and unwound from the reel, and for releasing the releasably secured terminal connector from the reel upon the unwinding of the cable therefrom to thereby release the entire section of the cable from the reel.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for handling electrical cable sections having substantially rigid connectors at the end of each section, wherein the entire fixed length of one or more sections of cable are positioned in and removed from a well bore by rapidly inserting and withdrawing a section of cable employing a rig floor assembly in combination with a cable supply and storage apparatus which are respectively provided with means for preventing excessive bending of the cable terminal connectors and the cable conductor at an interface between the conductor and connectors to prevent damage thereto during insertion and removal.

Abstract: An enclosed particular dry product is conveyed through a conduit by a gaseous fluid formed by a vacuum blower. Metered hoppers feed the product into the conduit. A cyclone removes the product from the fluid and conveys the same to a separating screen. The desired size product is recovered and passed through a flexible sock to minimize breakage and loaded into a vessel. The undesired size is fluid conveyed to a recovery receptacle.
