Abstract: A train rail alignment and distance system. The train rail alignment and distance system is a durable, highly accurate, portable electronic measurement system that is used for determining both rail inclination and distance between substantially parallel train rail sections during the processes of railway construction, maintenance, and monitoring. The system is designed to work accurately across a wide temperature range and in extreme weather conditions. It is designed to be easily manufactured, configured and maintained. The system also includes several optional integrated features and functions such as: field calibration, factory configuration, GPS and/or USB integration, PC and/or Internet-based communications, and data logging, data storage, and data analysis capabilities.
Abstract: A method of treating an effect of a chemical agent, which agent is characterized by one or more chiral centres, by administering a dilution or an ultra-high dilution or potentised preparation of a stereoisomer of said chemical agent.

The anti-door-closing member includes an elongated stem having opposite proximal and distal ends, wherein the proximal end comprises a raised spacer, and wherein the distal end of the elongated stem includes a stem button.
Abstract: A ballistic and forced entry resistant construction in which a sidewall is made up of a plurality of vertical columns, at least one perimeter floor sill section, at least one perimeter ceiling sill section, a plurality of bottom internal sleeves at spaced intervals extending upward from the perimeter floor sill section, a plurality of top internal sleeves at spaced intervals extending downward from the perimeter ceiling sill section, a plurality of upper outer panels, a plurality of lower outer panels, and a plurality of inner wall panels. A connecting tube is used to connect the upper and lower outer plates. The vertical columns are located between the bottom and top internal sleeves such that the sleeves fit inside the opposite ends of vertical columns and the upper and lower outer panels are located between vertical support columns.
Abstract: A system for a rotary boring tool that enables a user of the tool to align the tool perpendicularly with respect to a work surface of a work piece. In one embodiment the system enables a user to gauge distance or depth drilled into the work piece.
Abstract: An observation stand. In one non-limiting embodiment the observation stand includes a support base, a seat, a platform, and a safety-framework. The support base defines opposite top and bottom ends and first, second and third legs configured in a tripod arrangement. The legs each define an upper end and a bottom end. The seat is attached to, and hence supported by, the upper end of each leg. The platform comprises first, second and third slots. The slots are arranged to respectively accommodate the upper ends of the first, second and third legs. The platform is located proximate to the top end of the support base and below the seat. The platform defines a perimeter. The safety-framework is attached to the perimeter, and helps prevent a user from falling off the platform. An optional ground spike can be fitted to one or more of the legs.
Abstract: A fish lure break away system, having a lure attachment member, a hook section with at least one elongated shank, an eyelet, an eyelet guide, and a least one curved bend terminating in a tip section. The eyelet defines an eyelet gap having a predetermined width. In one embodiment the lure attachment member has a predetermined breaking strength in combination with a selected thickness and flexibility such that the lure attachment member can be squeezed through the eyelet gap and thereby attached to the eyelet. The lure attachment member may be of strength less than that of fishing line so as to break if snagged to release and avoid loss of a lure. The hook section has an inwardly projecting member which may be maneuvered to close or minimize the eyelet gap to retain the lure attachment member.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing polystyrene. The method includes the steps: using at least one scrapped surface heat exchanger (160) to heat a solution of polystyrene dissolved in an organic solvent to provide a heated solution of polystyrene dissolved in the organic solvent, and separating the dissolved polystyrene from the organic solvent. The apparatus includes: a holding tank at least partly filled with a solution of polystyrene dissolved in an organic solvent, at least one scrapped surface heat exchanger (160), and a separator.
Abstract: An anti-theft device for preventing theft of a boat fitted with an outboard motor. The anti-theft device is made up of a rear collar and a front collar. In one embodiment the rear collar comprises an elongated bracket having a U-shaped cross-section defined by first and second opposite sidewalls with a joining curved portion there-between. A nut cover is integral with and located at one end of the front collar. Complimentary locking teeth and locking teeth receiving apertures allow a user to affix the front and rear collars around an outboard motor's steering piston. Each of the front and rear collars are provided with locking tongues. In typical use a shackle is threaded through the locking tongues and attached to a padlock to secure the anti-theft device to the steering piston.
Abstract: A windmill apparatus includes tower, a tower-mounted hydraulic pump driven by windmill blades, and hydraulic lines connected to a ground storage tank and to a number of separate generator units. Each generator unit includes a hydraulic pump and an electrical generator. In operation, upon startup, as the wind propels the propeller-driven pump the hydraulic fluid circulates freely until a pre-set pressure is achieved, upon which a diverter valve diverts all the fluid pressure to the first generator unit. When the first generator unit is powered sufficiently to achieve a stable output voltage, a subsequent one of the remaining generator units is powered up until its output voltage is stabilized, with this process continuing as long as there is a surplus of hydraulic power available to power up additional units to take full advantage of all of the available wind power.

Abstract: A spreader (100) for spreading material, which in one embodiment comprises an upper bracket (120), a shaft (140), a return spring (160), a lower bracket (180), first and second sets of chain links (200a and 200b), and a spreader plate (220). The upper and lower brackets (120 and 180) are preferably aligned in the same vertical plane. The first and second chain links (200a and 200b) are located on opposite sides of the spreader (100) and on either side of the shaft (140). Upon rotation of the spreader (100) the first and second sets of chain links (200a and 200b) experience a centrifugal force sufficient to cause the spreader plate (220) to move down the shaft (140) and upon ceasing rotation the spreader plate (220) returns to a default position proximate to the top of the shaft (140).
Abstract: A table bingo game. The table bingo game is played by one to n players and makes use of a table having a table surface and a table grid marked out on the table surface. The table grid comprises m rows and n columns to provide an m by n matrix defining a rectangular array of preselected numbers therein. Each number in the m by n matrix has an integer value between 1 and y. A deck of bingo cards is provided having integer numbers printed thereon. A set of n player cards is provided each having a player grid printed thereon with four corner numbers. For each set of four corner numbers there is a column in the table grid having four matching numbers. The winner is the player with a player card that matches a column on the grid four matching bingo cards laid out thereon.
