Abstract: A metallic sliding slot structure for an electrical connector, which includes a base in which the slot structure formed by folding and pressing a metallic plate is positioned. The slot structure includes a bottom plate, an inner track plate disposed above the bottom plate, an outer track plate having an opening for enclosing the inner track plate, and at least one one-way block formed by pressing the bottom plate. The inner track plate has one end formed with a tip and the other end formed into an M-like shape to form a concave first positioning point. A one-way circulation path is formed between the inner and outer track plates. A second positioning point corresponding to the tip is defined in the opening of the outer track plate. The path goes from the second positioning point to the first positioning point and then back to the second positioning point.

Abstract: A combination lock and padlock combination as a lock is disclosed that includes a spring-biased pivot assembly comprising a locking dog and an engagement member; a push button pivotably disposed on the pivot assembly; a U-shaped shackle comprising a slotted leg for locking the locking dog; a spring-biased L-shaped catch assembly comprising a sliding member at one end and a tab projected from the other end; and a spring-biased opening warning assembly pivotably provided in the housing and comprising a locked mark at one end exposed at a window in a locked position of the lock and an open mark adapted to switch with the locked mark. Once the lock is opened by a key by one of a number of persons sharing the lock, the open mark is exposed on the window and other person(s) may be aware of same by seeing the open mark.

Abstract: Provided is scissors comprising a movable first handle unit; a stationary second handle unit including a bifurcated jaw, a pivotal blade in the jaw, a spring biased pivotal plate member in the jaw and including teeth, a gear and ratchet wheel assembly, and a spring biased pivotal pawl; and a spring biased lever including a pawl member engaged with the ratchet wheel. Continuously pivoting the first handle unit about the second handle unit by moving the first handle unit alternately back and forth in each action of pivoting the first handle unit toward the second handle unit will pivot the first and second protrusions counterclockwise, rotate the gear and ratchet assembly clockwise, and pivot the teeth counterclockwise to cut a pipe anchored in the mouth.

Abstract: An electrical connection socket structure, into which a plug is inserted, includes a plastic base having a hole, terminals disposed in the plastic base, and an insulation block. Each terminal has a pin located below the plastic base and an elastic arm formed with a contact. The terminals comprise a first terminal and a second terminal both having the contacts that may contact or be separated from each other. The insulation block disposed in the plastic base has a contact slant and can move the elastic arm of the first terminal. When the plug is inserted into the hole, the plug pushes the contact slant and moves the insulation block to press the elastic arm of the first terminal such that the contact of the first terminal is electrically connected to or disconnected from the contact of the second terminal after the contacts rubs against each other by a distance.

Abstract: An automobile compound taillight includes a main base, a main light base, a side light base, and a bottom light base. The main light base, the side light base and the bottom light base are respectively positioned in the main base at a front opening, a side opening and a bottom opening and then those openings sealed with a main light cover, a side light cover and a bottom light cover. The main light base, the side light base and the bottom light base respectively have an electric circuit board and plural LED lamps. The electric circuit board of the main light base is connected with an electric system of a automobile, and the electric circuit boards of the side light base and the bottom light base are connected with that of the main light base. Thus, the automobile compound taillight can be used as a brake light, a direction one and a tail one separately.

Abstract: A plasma generating device, has a plurality of cavities shaped like half-ellipsoids, a plasma cavity, and microwave sources. The present invention takes advantage of geometrical properties of the propagation of electromagnetic waves by enclosing an electromagnetic field in the microwave range in overlapping cavities that together are shaped like a plurality of half ellipsoids. Each of the cavities has a first focus and a second focus, with the first foci of the cavities place close to each other. Microwaves entering the cavities at the second foci propagate inside the cavity and are focused at the first foci. The area around the first foci of both half ellipsoids forms a plasma cavity, providing a large volume filled with a microwave field. Thereby an increased volume of an electromagnetic field and thus of a plasma is achieved.

Abstract: A hybrid power system, comprising a first power unit, a secondary shaft, a first transmission device, an auxiliary power unit, and a second transmission device. The first power unit has a primary shaft. The secondary shaft is driven by the primary shaft in a rotational movement. The first transmission device is placed between the primary shaft and the secondary shaft, having a transmission belt, transmitting torque from the primary shaft to the secondary shaft. The auxiliary power unit has an electric motor with a driving shaft, which is parallel to the primary shaft. The second transmission device is placed between the primary shaft and the driving shaft, transmitting torque from the electric motor to the primary shaft.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a base, solder balls, terminals and locking members. The base is formed with terminal slots and solder ball slots. The terminal slots respectively communicate with the solder ball slots via channels. The solder balls are respectively disposed in the solder ball slots. Each solder ball has a bottom protruding beyond a bottom of the base. Each ball contacts a bottom surface of the solder ball slot disposed between the terminal slot and the solder ball. The terminals are respectively disposed in the terminal slots and electrically connected to the solder balls. The terminals have contacts extending in a direction toward tops of the terminal slots. The locking members are separated from the terminals and respectively inserted into the solder ball slots. Each locking member locks up at one side of the solder ball to prevent the solder ball from escaping out of the solder ball slot.

Abstract: A combined chip/heat-dissipating metal plate includes a chip and a heat-dissipating metal plate bonded to a side of the chip, wherein the heat-dissipating metal plate is in a stretched state. The heat-dissipating metal plate is stretched before bonding the chip. Preferably, the stretched heat-dissipating metal plate has a thickness smaller than that of the heat-dissipating metal plate before stretching by not more than 20%. The chip has good compression strength in the radial direction and the heat-dissipating metal plate has higher tensile strength after being stretched and taking shape, providing a more stable structure and avoiding damage to the chip due to radially outward tension. The combined chip/heat-dissipating metal plate thus obtained is more stable and thus benefits the subsequent cutting by a laser cutting apparatus.

Abstract: An electric fan comprises a rotary hub comprising a hollow two-layer cylinder including a plurality of units each including: a gap between the layers, an axial first coupling edge abutted on an adjacent unit, an arcuate second coupling edge at its inner end joined with the first coupling edge, two internal ridges, and a rib interconnected the cylinder and a central sleeve; and a plurality of detachable blades comprising a blade section and a base including a raised member, a connecting edge in a joining portion of the blade section and the raised member, two side shoulders, and a forward, downward projection. Each base is inserted into the gap with the shoulders engaged with the ridges, the connecting edge engaged with the second coupling edge, and one side of the raised member engaged with the first coupling edge respectively. Also, each projection is threadedly secured to each rib.

Abstract: An illumination device comprises a rotating member secured to a hub of a fan of a computer having a transparent case and including LEDs, a receptacle formed above a center, the receptacle including a projected head and an internal electromagnet, control circuits each for periodically controlling an on or off of one or more of the LEDs, a coil of wire surrounded by the electromagnet, and positive and negative terminals; and a fixed member secured to the fan and including a central slot snugly coupled to the head for fastening the receptacle and the fixed member together. Turning on the computer, the fan, the rotating member, and the coil of wire will rotate so as to cut magnetic lines across a space defined by the electromagnet, induce a voltage in the terminals, and illuminate or flash the LEDs.

Abstract: A healthy chair comprises an inclined seat plate, a plurality of feet, and a frontal torso positioning device. The seat plate has a front side and a rear side that is higher than the front side. The frontal torso positioning device is fastened to the seat plate at the rear side thereof and extends forward and upward. Support bars for resting the feet of a user are positioned near the feet of the chair below the rear side of the seat plate. Thereby an upright sitting position is automatically assumed by the user, with the upper body and the thighs enclosing an angle of more than 90 degrees, resulting in a better sitting position, straightening of the spine and better health.

Abstract: Provided is a device for massaging eyes comprising a mask received in a compartment and comprising annular left and right guards surrounding rear portions of left and right eye portions respectively, and left and right diaphragms in the eye portions respectively; a pneumatic-powered cylinder assembly for converting rotating motion into reciprocating motion; and a plastic tube interconnected the mask and the cylinder assembly. In operation, air having positive or negative pressure is built in the cylinder alternately prior to communicating to the eyes for massaging. There are provided protrusions around a rear portion of each guard. In another embodiment, there are provided left and right soft spacers attached to rear surfaces of the diaphragms respectively.
