Abstract: There is provided a method of parking a hard disk drive head, which can minimize an impact during head parking using an alternating current (AC). This method includes the steps of: determining whether no command is input during a predetermined time in a wake-up mode, or whether a power-off command is input; and moving the head to a parking area by driving an actuator to which the head is attached using an initially-set alternating current, if no command was input during the predetermined time or a power-off command was input. Accordingly, damage to the head and head suspension, caused by the collision of the head with a latch magnet because of an excess acceleration of the actuator during parking, can be prevented.

Abstract: An electrophotographic processor containing an image forming apparatus such as a laser printer, a copying machine, and a facsimile machine, is capable of regulating the thickness of toner layer formed on a developing roller so as to be a mono-layer. The electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes: a photosensitive drum rotating at a constant speed; a charging roller for charging a surface of the photosensitive drum; a developing roller for forming a toner image on a electrostatic latent image of the photosensitive drum by transferring toner from the developing roller to the drum; a supplying roller for supplying toner agitated by an agitator; and a doctor blade for regulating the toner layer on a developing roller device so as to be a uniform thickness. The doctor blade contacts the surface of the developing roller at a specific edge thereof, and is affixed to a bracket for supporting the doctor blade at an upper portion thereof, the bracket being affixed to a frame of a developing unit.

Abstract: A computer case is disclosed that allows a user to open and close the case without the use of special tools or screws. Instead, a user simply slides two sliders on the cover of the case towards each other and simply lifts up the front portion of the cover to gain access to the interior of the case. The slider is monolithically integrated to a latch. The latch contains two spaced-apart arms about a recess. One of the arms of the latch is arcuate so as to guide a portion of the base and a portion of a cover that are slightly separated into the recess so that both portions are mated snugly preventing inadvertent opening of the case. This snug mating can be accomplished by simply sliding a pair of slider in the proper directions. To disengage the cover from the base, the sliders are slid in the opposite directions releasing a portions of the base from contact with a portions of the cover. When the case is released, the front of the cover can be lifted up.
