  • Patent number: 6161701
Abstract: The invention provides for an apparatus for separating particulate dispersed in a liquid phase from the major volume of the liquid. The separator comprises a substantially cylindrical member formed of a flexible material and adaptable to nest or be seated in a receptacle, such as a pail of sufficient size to hold enough liquid or cleaning solution and to accommodate the washing accessory such as a sponge. The separator has an annulus or rim which has at least one opening so that when the separator is inserted into a pail of water or other liquid, air will not be trapped beneath the separator and force it from its seat or to the surface of the liquid. The cylindrical member has an integrally formed concave surface disposed substantially horizontally when the separator is in use, in that this surface is configured as an inverted cone. The concave surface is provided with a centrally disposed opening to allow for the passage of particulate therethrough.

  • Patent number: 6042171
Abstract: The invention provides a pair of deflectors symmetrically mounted on each side of a motorcycle. Each pair of deflectors, being substantially identical, is mounted on the longitudinal center axis of the front fork of the motorcycle, and comprises a first panel and second panel separately and fixedly mounted to the motorcycle and partially in spaced, overlapping disposition. The first panel is obliquely angled as viewed in cross-section thereby forming an upper section, and a bottom section extending downwardly and rearwardly with reference to the fork. The second panel is disposed mainly rearwardly relative to the first panel, and terminates at its forward or leading edge with an angled or curved upper surface, as viewed in cross-section, which overlaps in spaced disposition with the bottom section of the first panel. • Patent number: 5832965
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, the filling apparatus for charging a pressurized aerosol container with a liquid product utilizes a male injector depending from a liquid reservoir in conjunction with a female valve of the container. The aerosol can is positioned or adjusted between a can non-filing position and a filling position, and pressure selectively draws liquid from the reservoir to the can when in a filling position. A substantially cylindrical housing engageable with and extending from the reservoir has an axial bore for liquid communication with the reservoir. A valve control having a valve body disposed in the axial bore of the cylindrical housing and having a central opening in liquid communication with the axial bore, includes a hollow injector pin extending longitudinally from the valve body and concentrically arranged with the opening of the valve body and terminates with at least one aperture.

  • Patent number: 5765719
Abstract: The dispenser and rack for a roll of paper, plastic, or foil, which comprises a magazine for generally vertical disposition having an open bottom, and the inside dimensions of the magazine are sufficient to accommodate at least one roll. A paddle is mounted in the magazine, and a handle affixed to the paddle extends from an opening in the magazine and is free to be moved along the opening so as to actuate the paddle between a lower-most position and an upper-most position. The paddle is arranged so when in its lower-most position, it obstructs the open bottom so as to prevent a roll from dropping from the magazine; and when the paddle is actuated to its upper-most position, clearance is provided to allow a roll to drop from the magazine. A suitable bracket depends from the magazine beneath the open bottom, and the paddle allows one roll a time to drop from the magazine for engagement with the bracket, and is revolvedly mounted on the bracket, thereby exposing the roll for use.
