Abstract: A covering structure with soil anchors is disclosed. The covering structure includes multiple support poles, a canopy provided on the support poles and multiple generally arcuate soil anchors attached to the canopy. Each soil anchor can be used to dig or burrow an anchor hole in sand or other loose soil in which the soil anchor is subsequently buried to anchor the canopy on the support poles.

Abstract: A fishing line package and dispenser is disclosed. An illustrative embodiment of the fishing line package and dispenser includes a housing, a fishing line spool provided in the housing, a fishing line wound on the fishing line spool, a display tab extending from the housing and an attachment tab carried by the display tab and adapted to detachably engage the housing. A method of transferring fishing line to a reel of a fishing rod is also disclosed.

Abstract: A twist attachment device which is suitable for attaching a segment of fence wire such as a run of barbed wire to a fence post in the construction of wire fences. The device includes a frame within which is rotatably mounted a pair of spaced-apart wire twist gears each having a wire notch and a wire segment opening adjacent to the wire notch. A drive mechanism operably engages the wire twist gears to rotate the wire twist gears in the housing. In operation, an attachment wire segment is extended through the registering wire segment openings of the respective wire twist gears, after which a fence post is extended between the spaced-apart wire twist gears. The segment of fence wire to be attached to the fence post is then inserted into the registering wire notches of the wire twist gears.

Abstract: A massage device which substantially mirrors the hardness and deformation characteristics of the human thumb or palm and is particularly effective in relieving tender and painful muscle and connective tissue conditions, including but not limited to trigger points, foot ailments and leg and arm ailments such as carpel tunnel syndrome. The massage device typically includes an elongated, resilient massage body. A pair of spaced-apart wheels is provided on the massage body to facilitate rolling the device on a surface. The wheels of the massage device may be rolled in a back-and-forth motion on a flat surface as the afflicted area or areas on an arm, leg, foot or other part of a user's body is pressed against the resilient massage body to substantially alleviate pain and discomfort associated with muscle or connective tissue conditions.

Abstract: An adaptor which is suitable for attaching a powerglide transmission case to a four-wheel-drive transfer case in vehicles. The adaptor includes an adaptor body having a transmission case attachment collar on one end for attachment to the powerglide transmission case and a transfer case attachment collar on the opposite end for attachment to the four-wheel-drive transfer case. A shaft opening extending through the adaptor body receives a transfer shaft that connects the gear mechanism of the powerglide transmission to the gear mechanism of the four-wheel-drive transfer mechanism. Fastener openings in the transmission case attachment collar and fastener recesses in the transfer case attachment collar receive fasteners which are extended through respective fastener openings in the powerglide transmission case and the transfer case, respectively.

Abstract: A revolving battery reservoir system is disclosed. The revolving battery reservoir system includes a system housing for containing multiple sets of batteries. A housing cap is rotatably mounted on the system housing. A contact rod is provided on the housing cap for contacting a selected one of the multiple sets of batteries responsive to rotation of the housing cap on the system housing. Multiple battery extension springs are provided in the system housing for engaging the multiple sets of batteries, respectively. An electrical device is provided in electrical contact with the multiple battery extension springs and the contact rod.

Abstract: A new and improved sanitary napkin that prevents backflow of menstrual fluids from the napkin during use. The sanitary napkin includes a napkin body having an absorbent tab that extends from the absorbent surface of the napkin body. In use, the absorbent tab blocks and absorbs menstrual fluid and prevents the fluid from running off the back edge or end of the napkin body.

Abstract: A multi-unit centralizer for centralizing or otherwise positioning a tubing string in a well bore. The centralizer has a centralizer hub including multiple hub subunits for removably engaging each other and at least one spacer lug for removably engaging each of the hub subunits.

Abstract: A multi-purpose light is disclosed. The multi-purpose light includes a housing, an illumination mechanism provided in the housing for illuminating the mailbox interior and a switch provided on the housing for reversibly activating the illumination mechanism. Aa pivot contact having a generally cylindrical pivot portion is rotatably mounted in the housing and engaged by the switch. A contact extension extends from the pivot portion. The switch is moveable between a first position wherein the contact extension disengages the illumination mechanism and the illumination mechanism is extinguished, and a second position wherein the pivot contact rotates in the housing and the contact extension engages the illumination mechanism to activate the illumination mechanism. An activation clip embodiment of the multi-purpose light is also disclosed.

In typical application, at least two players in the enclosure interior stand in front of respective ball openings, and each of the players attempts to kick a ball through the ball opening or openings of the other player or players.

Abstract: A sound, light and storage system which includes a sound and light module that may be placed adjacent to a bed, couch or other furniture. Various speakers and lights are provided on the sound and light module. The speakers may be connected to various entertainment or other equipment including televisions, video players, compact disk (CD) players, digital video disk (DVD) players, radios, computers and/or stereo systems, for example. The lights, as well as the speakers or the entertainment or other equipment to which the speakers are connected, may be wired to a control panel provided on the sound and light module to enable a person lying or sitting on the bed or couch convenient control of the lights, speakers and/or equipment. Alternatively or in addition, the lights, speakers and/or equipment may be connected to a remote control module and/or wireless control device.
