Abstract: An adapter for pipe locking clamps, particularly but not exclusively useful for welding portions of plastic piping by polyfusion. The adapter has at least two bodies obtained from a metal plate, and arranged parallel to each other. The bodies have respective circular arc-like lateral rims that have a same radius of curvature. The centers of curvature of the circular arc-like lateral rims are all arranged on a same axis so as to form a partially cylindrical concave surface forming an open cradle which is adapted to lock the pipes in cooperation with a similar surface formed on a complementary and opposite reduction unit.

Abstract: A kit for promoting social interaction includes a plurality of containers in the form of boxes held by a larger vessel. Each of the containers encloses a message designed for stimulating conversation and includes an instruction that the container is to be used for purposes of stimulating conversation. The instruction may be carried on the substrate together with the message. Alternatively or additionally, the messages may be provided on inside surfaces of the containers while the instruction may be printed on the outside of the individual containers.

Abstract: The control valve comprises a valve rod having a valve body part; a valve main body provided with a valve chamber having a valve port to/from which the valve body part contacts/separates, a discharge pressure refrigerant inlet for introducing the refrigerant from a compressor, and a refrigerant outlet communicating with a crank chamber of the compressor; an electromagnetic actuator having a plunger for moving the valve rod in the valve closing direction; a pressure sensing chamber in which suction pressure is introduced from the compressor; and a pressure sensitive response member for pressing the valve rod in the valve opening direction corresponding to the pressure in the pressure sensing chamber, wherein the valve rod is fitted to the plunger having a predetermined diametrical directional clearance so as not to be influenced from the lateral deviation and inclination of the plunger.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a rack assist type electric power steering system, and in particular to an improved rack assist type electric power steering system which is capable of decreasing a processing section of a ball screw by improving an installation position and structure of a ball screw, protecting a connector and sensor of a motor assembly from a heat source and preventing any interference of parts due to a drooping of a rack bar. The system according to the present invention includes a rack bar, an input shaft, a rack housing, a torque sensor which surrounds an upper surrounding portion of the input shaft and is fixed to an upper portion of the rack housing; a second rack housing which surrounds the straight line section of the rack bar and contacts by a bush inserted into an inner diameter portion of the same, and a motor assembly.
