Abstract: A hydraulic coupling and method for producing such having a tubing with an end portion of a tubing wall outwardly bent and return bent upon itself to form a flattened double flanged end. The method of production using three separate press hits to secure a sleeve to the tubing, to form an annular V-shaped flange in the tubing wall and to compact the V-shaped flange into a flattened double flanged end.

Abstract: A method of producing fibers which are electrically conductive and which also exhibit anti-bacterial properties. The method involves treating the fibers in one or more baths which contain a solution of copper ions and an anti-bacterial compound such as iodine. The resulting fibers with the adsorbed copper and iodine ions exhibit the desired properties when dried.
Abstract: A method for treating spark plugs to increase the horsepower output of an internal combustion engine. The method involves significantly lowering the temperature of the plugs to about -300.degree. F. and keeping the plugs at this temperature for a predetermined time. The temperature is then raised back to room temperature (about 72.degree. F.). After the treated plugs have reached room temperature they may be slowly heated to about +300.degree. F. and held at that temperature for a predetermined time before being gradually cooled back to room temperature.
