Abstract: Provided is a tunable magnetic field amplifying device capable of easily adjusting resonance frequencies and tuning usable bands by using discrete elements to vary electric properties of elements that are used for amplifying a magnetic field of a specific microwave band. The tunable magnetic field amplifying device includes a Swiss roll formed by winding a metal sheet coated with a dielectric in a spiral cylinder shape once or several times; and a tunable capacitor connected between an inner sheet of and an outer sheet of the metal sheet for tuning a resonance frequency.

Abstract: An apparatus for detecting front edge of a document and determining home position of an image scanning module has a detecting light source near an outlet end of a document feeding track and aligned with an image reader of the image scanning module. The detecting light source emits a detecting light to be received by the image reader. By detecting whether the detecting light is received by the image reader, the front edge of the document can be detected to activate the image scanning module. And it can also determine whether or not the image scanning module has arrived on a home position.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for filling a continuous air filling type air enclosure with air comprises moving first an air cylinder film sheet onto a working platform, hot-sealing two outer films of the air cylinder film sheet using a hot sealing device to form an air filling passageway, moving an air filling head into the air filling passageway and then using a clamping apparatus to press the two outer films tightly to attach onto the air filling head to allow air in the air filling head to be filled into the air filling passageway and enter an air cylinder of the air cylinder film sheet via an air inlet of the air cylinder film sheet to cause the air cylinder to be filled with air and expanded.

Abstract: An energy storage type of dual-drive coupled power distribution system adapted to an all wheel driving (AWD) transportation means having a revolution output end from an internal combustion engine that drives front wheel through a front-wheel transmission assembly by means of an intermediate transmission and control interface or a coupling device providing gear-changing or clutching function, connects the revolving kinetics to drive the revolution input end of a dual-drive type of electromagnetic coupling drive device, and further drives the rear wheel through the other revolution output end of the dual-drive type of electromagnetic coupling drive device made in the construction of a revolving dual-end shaft with both end shafts respectively incorporated to a revolving magnetic field structure and a revolving rotor structure to regulate the power distribution between the front wheel and the rear wheel while being subject to the manipulation by a control device.
Abstract: A rotatable electric plug has a bottom case, a rotatable brace, a plug head, a limit cover and a top cover. The rotatable brace is rotatably mounted in the bottom case and has a top surface and two connectors being mounted on the top surface of the rotatable brace. The plug head is detachably mounted on the bottom case and is connected with the rotatable brace. Two pins of the plug head is electronically connected to the connectors respectively. The limit cover is mounted in the bottom case to position the rotatable brace. The top cover is mounted on the bottom case to hold the rotatable brace and the limit cover inside the bottom case.
Abstract: Provided are a multilayer-structured bolometer and a method of fabricating the same. In the multilayer-structured bolometer, the number of support arms supporting the body of a sensor structure is reduced to one, and two electrodes are formed on the one support arm. Thus, the sensor structure is electrically connected with a substrate through the only one support arm. According to the multilayer-structured bolometer and method of fabricating the bolometer, the thermal conductivity of the sensor structure is considerably reduced to remarkably improve sensitivity to temperature, and also the pixel size of the bolometer is reduced to obtain high-resolution thermal images. In addition, the multilayer-structured bolometer can have a high fill-factor due to a sufficiently large infrared-absorbing layer, and thus can improve infrared absorbance.

Abstract: A flip-flop is provided. The flip-flop is used in a shift register in a source driver. The flip-flop is used to receive a first clock signal, an input signal and output an output signal. The output signal is fed back to the flip-flop. The flip-flop includes a flop core for receiving the input signal and output the output signal. When the input signal and the output signal are all disabled, the flop core is disabled to function. When the input signal or the output signal is enabled, the flop core is enabled to function to output the output signal.
Abstract: A semiconductor device comprises a substrate, a first conductive film, a first insulation film, a second insulation film, a second conductive film, and a third conductive film. The first conductive film is formed on the substrate. The first insulation film is formed on the first conductive film and has a first opening. The first opening is formed as having multiple crossing trenches each having a predetermined width. The second insulation film is formed on the sides and bottom of the first opening. The second conductive film is formed on the second insulation film in the interior of the first opening. The third conductive film is formed on the second insulation film and the second conductive film.
Abstract: A current-mode differential transmitter, receiving a single-end input voltage signal and accordingly generating a differential output current signal, is provided. The transmitter includes a first switch, a second switch and a current mirror. The first switch is coupled in a first current path and controlled by the single-end input voltage signal. The second switch is coupled in a second current path and controlled by an inverted signal of the single-end input voltage signal. The current mirror mirrors a reference current to the first current path when the first switch is turned on, and mirrors the reference current to the second current path when the second switch is turned on. The differential output current signal is derived from the currents on the first and second current paths.
Abstract: A signal readout circuit for amperometric sensor for reading a readout signal of a sensor includes an amplifier, a first transistor, a second transistor, and a first resistor. A negative input end of the amplifier receives an input voltage, and a positive input end of the amplifier is connected to a reference electrode of the sensor. Gates of the first transistor and the second transistor are connected to an output end of the amplifier, a drain of the first transistor is connected to a counter electrode of the sensor, and a drain of the second transistor is connected to the first resistor.
Abstract: An apparatus and a method are proposed for measuring displacement, surface profile and roughness of a moving object or an inner radius of a hollow cylinder. The apparatus includes a light emitting unit, a light dispersing unit for receiving light from the light emitting unit and focusing rays with different wavelengths into different focal points with different intervals, and a wavelength measuring unit for measuring wavelengths of the rays. When the moving object is moving within a dispersing range of the focal points, the rays with different wavelengths are reflected or scattered, and the displacement of the moving object is learned from variation of the wavelengths being measured by the wavelength measuring unit. Given that a reflecting component is disposed in the centre of an inner circle of the hollow cylinder, the inner radius of the hollow cylinder can be measured by the principle of the apparatus for measuring displacement.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) with a transverse-rectangle well. The DRA comprising a substrate, a ground plane, a feed conductor, and a dielectric resonator. The resonator further includes a main body and a well penetrating the main body to enhance the electric field, to increase the radiation efficiency, to broaden the bandwidth, and to create new resonant mode. The DRA has the radiation pattern of broad beamwidth with vertical polarization. Accordingly, the invention can also be adjusted as WLAN 802.11a antenna.
Abstract: A loosening-proof screw fastening device, including at least one stop wheel on at least one of a plurality of contacting faces; the at least one stop wheel is rotatably assembled in a locating hole on said at least one contacting face with its stop tooth slightly protruded beyond the contacting face; upon application of a backward action force for loosening the fastening device a created torque will bring the at least one stop wheel into rotation and make a stop tooth of the at least one stop wheel protrude beyond the contacting face and penetrate into a surface closely opposed to the at least one contacting face for preventing the fastening device from loosening.
