Abstract: The sensitivity of a pressure-sensitive element in a pressure-sensitive part of a control valve for variable-capacity compressor is made adjustable by means of an adjusting screw provided so as to permit an adjustment of forward and backward movement with respect to a frame supporting the pressure-sensitive part. The adjusting screw is rotated by engaging an engagement part, which is annexed to a coil assembly constituting a solenoid excitation part, against the adjusting screw thereby to operate the coil assembly.
Abstract: The invention provides a treating process of cacao beans, and more particularly cacao powder rich in polyphenols, a process for the preparation thereof and a prepared cacao composed of the cacao powder. According to the invention, the polyphenol contained in the cacao beans is allowed to remain as much as possible, by setting initial water content in the roasting treatment to 3-10% by weight. Although polyphenols have various favorable biological functions of anti-oxidating action, anti-dental cariesing action, action for preventing arteriosclerosis and so on, but those are unfavorable from the view point of taste because of astringency and bitterness. In a conventional process for preparing cacao powder, therefore, an operation for removing polyphenols has been carried out, but in the invention, the astringency and bitterness are inhibited by setting water content of the cacao nib to 3-10% by weight in the alkali treatment prior to the roasting treatment.
Abstract: The invention provides a television receiver which comprises a setting key to be manipulated for setting RATING information, a decoder 4 for extracting RATING information from V-chip signal, a memory 5 for storing RATING information, and a control circuit 1 for reading RATING information from the decoder 4 when the user depresses the setting key and storing the read RATING information in the memory 5. This construction assures a facilitated procedure for setting RATING information and enables the user to set desired RATING information even if the user fails to understand the meanings of the symbols representing the RATING information, further enabling the user to reliably prohibit viewing of programs of a level contemplated by the user.
