Abstract: Electronic documents corresponding to executed paper documents are certified. A certifying agent receives an electronic document and a corresponding paper document that had been executed pursuant to some transaction. The certifying agent compares the information contained in the paper to that in the electronic mortgage document. If the paper adequately corresponds to the electronic document and is otherwise sufficient, then the certifying agent certifies the electronic document so that other parties can reliably engage in transactions involving the electronic document without having to possess or otherwise inspect the executed paper document. Certification involves application of some form of indicia of certification to the electronic document, such as updating the value of a field corresponding to certification in the electronic document and/or applying a digital or electronic signature corresponding to the certifying agent to the electronic document.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to the area of electrochemical processing of liquids and production of gases, and is used for anolyte and catholyte synthesis. The electrolytic cell comprises an assembled anode and a diaphragm. Elements of the anode and the diaphragm are assembled in axial alignment with help of sleeves, and free ends of the anode and the diaphragm are fixed in a coaxial manner with solid of electrolyte input and output covers. The cathode is made solid from a single pipe with current terminals on each side. The cathode is the internal electrode of the electrolytic cell, while the anode is the external one. The anode is may be provided with a visual indicator as a positive electrode.
Abstract: A driving method of a solid-state imaging device vertically transfers a signal charge obtained by photoelectric conversion and horizontally transfers the signal charge vertically transferred to output an imaging signal corresponding to the signal charge. For every charge packet unit for transferring the signal charge, the charge packet unit being formed of columns of transfer channels used in the vertical transfer, a backward transfer channel behind the charge packet in a vertical transfer direction is turned off substantially simultaneously with turning on of a forward transfer channel ahead of the charge packet.
Abstract: A favorable high-frequency signal is generated and practical high-frequency signal interpolation is implemented through simple processing. A digital audio signal reproduced by an instrument, which also carries out compression, is supplied as an original signal to an input terminal 1, and this original signal is then supplied to a digital sample and hold circuit 3 via a band-pass filter 2. The signal from the digital sample and hold circuit 3 is supplied to a ±1 multiplier 6, which then alternately inverts sign bits. The harmonic components of this signal in which the sign bits are inverted alternately are extracted by a high-pass filter (HPF) 7. Meanwhile, the original signal from the input terminal 1 is supplied to a delay circuit 8 equivalent to the processing time consumed by the aforementioned digital sample and hold circuit 3 and related circuits, forming an adjusted, delayed signal.
Abstract: A method for cutting a graphic into a graphic material is disclosed. The method includes automatically controlling a cutting device to cut a desired graphic shape into a graphic material and automatically adjusting the cutting depth of the cutting device between at least a shallower cutting depth and a deeper cutting depth substantially contemporaneously with the cutting the desired graphic shape into the material.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heating device (1) for fuel with at least one PTC heating element (5) and a heat transfer device (6) in thermal contact with the latter, which exhibits two heat transfer elements (7, 7?), and with a tubular casing (2) made of plastic that envelop the heat transfer device (6) and the a least one PTC heating element (5), wherein the diesel fuel to be heated flows through the casing (2) and around the heat transfer device (6) during operation of the heating device (1). Provided on the interior side of the tubular casing (2) is a guiding device that interacts with the at least one PTC heating element (5) and/or the heat transfer device (6) in such a way that at least one PTC heating element (5) and the heat transfer device (6) can be axially inserted into the casing (2) for assembling the heating device (1).
Abstract: An inverter circuit includes: first to third transistors; and first and second capacity elements. The first transistor makes/breaks connection between an output terminal and a first voltage line in response to potential difference between an input terminal and the first voltage line or its correspondent. The second transistor makes/breaks connection between a second voltage line and the output terminal in response to potential difference between a gate of the second transistor and the output terminal or its correspondent. The third transistor makes/breaks connection between a gate of the second transistor and a third voltage line in response to potential difference between the input terminal and the third voltage line or its correspondent. The first and second capacity elements are inserted in series between the input terminal and the gate of the second transistor. A junction between the first and second capacity elements is connected to the output terminal.
Abstract: A device for the measurement of the influence of friction force on the wear characteristics of a material surface comprises a frame with a cover. A shaft is installed in the frame. A moveable element of a friction pair is fixed on the shaft. A holder of a pressed element of the friction pair and a clamp which applies a regulated load on the holder with the pressed friction element are installed in the cover. The holder of the pressed friction element is installed in a holder frame with first membranes which allow the motion only perpendicular to the axis of holder frame. The holder-frame is installed in the cover also with second membranes that allow it to move only in its axial direction. The system of the membranes damps the impact of inertial forces on the friction pair.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an analyzing device to be used by inserting an analytical instrument 2 comprising a plurality of terminal portions 25A to 28A therein, the device including a plurality of terminals 42 and 43 having a shape of a flat spring to be in contact with the plurality of terminal portions 25A to 28A, and a disposal mechanism for disposing of the analytical instrument 2 after completing an analysis. Contact portions 46 and 47 in the plurality of terminals 42 and 43 having a flat-spring shape to be in contact with the plurality of terminal portions 25A to 28A are placed to be in non-parallel with a direction orthogonal to a disposal direction D1 of the analytical instrument 2 in planar view. The portions 46 and 47 in the plurality of terminals 42 and 43 having the flat-spring shape are preferably placed so as to have a symmetrical or substantially symmetrical positional relationship relative to a center line L1 of the analytical instrument 2 extending along the disposal direction D1.

Abstract: A baffle is provided that includes a body portion having a first layer and a second layer defining a free space therebetween. A sealer is disposed on the body portion in the space between the first layer and the second layer. The space has a predetermined volume and the sealer is expandable in the space. When placed in a cavity, such as a vehicle cavity, the sealer also expands into the cavity to seal the cavity. The baffle is more light-weight and capable of reducing noise and vibration, especially at higher frequencies than traditional baffles.
