Abstract: A tube perforating device for forming outlet openings in a tube, such as a plastic tube, having discharge openings for passage of air, or the like, where it is desired to diminish the sound of the discharge to a minimum, and the method of accomplishing such opening formations by multiple perforations with perforating members spaced as desired and having ovoid heads to permit perforations of the walls of the tube and withdrawing the head of the perforating means through the perforations, drawing the peripheral margins of the opening outwardly, leaving the inside wall of the tube smooth, thus diminishing turbulance therein, and said device having an adjustment permitting a selective penetration of both walls of the tubing, transversely, with just the point of the penetrating means perforating the bottom wall, forcing said peripheral margin outwardly on the bottom perforation, and withdrawing the said head through the upper wall penetration, again moving the peripheral margin outwardly, providing pairs of openin
Abstract: A guide for a cutting torch providing means for effecting circular cutouts in large vessels or large diameter pipe without the need of a lay-out other than fixing a working point and providing multiple adjustments so that cuts may be made of the desired diameter as well as having the desired bevel.
Abstract: Attachments for motorcycles permitting a conversion of the vehicle to a water borne vehicle, including hinged frameworks controlled and operated by pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders or the like, on which are mounted rotatable propeller for suitable floats and suitable water propulsion. The float members are designed to include, if desired, battery operated propellers either as substitute or as auxiliary propulsion for the vehicle, when being used on water.
Abstract: A flange grooving tool for grooving or re-grooving flanges in relatively small tubular members, having novel means for adjusting a cutting member to the desired circumferential path and having means for the direct gear drive of a rotating member at a controlled speed.
Abstract: A kite made out of a box top of the type of box formed of a light weight rigid plastic foam material, such as the substantially rectangular Polystyrene boxes used in dispensing hot food, particularly the type of such boxes having tops provided with a peripheral lip and a longitudinal slot in one longitudinal lip, midway of the ends of the box. A 1 inch tape, such as the tape commonly known as Engineer's flagging, of approximately 30 feet in length, is secured to the box top for a tail and a pigtail, and a string is attached to the flagging on the opposite side of the box top and the kite is ready to fly.
Abstract: A deer stand and game carrier having a framework, a back pack connection at one end of said framework, and a pair of wheels mounted on the other end, and a ladder mounted on the framework between said back pack and wheels, which, when the desired location is reached, may be pivotally mounted on the framework and moved into stand position, with the backpack portion being utilized as a stand seat. The framework is composed of telescoping members to permit the legs to be extended as desired.
Abstract: A multi-purpose facing tool mounted on an adjustable boom for cutting faces on flanges, and the like, or cutting grooves in flange faces, adaptable to many sizes of flanges, having novel driving means mounted on the retaining spider, and including an adjustable guide means for maintaining the boom and boom supporting means aligned and in constantly driving position.
Abstract: An alarm system remote monitor panel having a series of control units, each unit being provided with a light cell, diodes and a coil so that when a remote sensor triggers an alarm, the light will be illuminated and the audio unit activated. The audio may be disconnected at the monitor panel, and the light turned off at the sensor.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method of transport of vaporized matter by laser beam, and the equipment to practice the method. The vaporized material is introduced into the laser beam at the point of generation of the beam, and conveyor junctions are provided, such as prisms, having passageways therethrough, the prisms deflecting the beam and the passageways therethrough being the center of the beam for passage of vapors with the beam.
Abstract: This invention relates to an anti-pollution means for attachment to a smoke stack, and consists of forming a conduit over the top of the stack to entrain the discharge therefrom when the stack is in operation, by forced draft, drawing the emission through a conduit adjacent the stack and into a water bath to thoroughly extinguish any burning carbons and to filter any ash or other residue before discharge of the emission, and discharging the washed emission downwardly and outwardly at ground level. It is also an object of this invention to teach a method of anti-pollution by forming an air stream above a smoke stack and drawing the smoke stack emission into the air stream and away from the top of the stack when is in operation and subjecting the emission to a water spray before venting the remaining gas at ground level.
