Abstract: A laser receiver for detecting the position of incidence of a beam of laser light thereon includes a first photodetector and a second photodetector aligned in series with each other and spaced apart from each other by a gap. If the laser is evenly distributed between the two photodetectors, then the laser position will be set as the correct position and a corresponding signal will be displayed. However, if the first photodetector detects more light than the second photodetector, then a signal will also be displayed to inform the user that more laser is being projected onto the first photodetector. On the other hand, if the second photodetector detects more light than the first photodetector, then a signal will be displayed to inform the user that more laser being projected onto the second photodetector. These signals will assist users to adjust the laser receiver to accurately position the laser.
Abstract: A bubble producing assembly has a housing having an outlet, an air generator positioned on the housing, a bubble producing device positioned over the air generator, a first activator coupled to the air generator, a reservoir associated with the housing for storing a liquid, a pump system coupling the reservoir and the outlet, and a second activator coupled to the pump system for delivering the liquid from the reservoir out of the outlet. Thus, a user can use the first activator to generate air to produce bubbles, and can use the second activator to generate a stream of the liquid that can be aimed at the generated bubbles.
Abstract: A Z-axis device for an input device has a rotatable roller having a first side and a second side, the second side of the roller having a plurality of grooves. The Z-axis device also has a support mechanism that positions the roller for reciprocating pivoting movement, a first axle extending from the first side of the roller and supported by the support mechanism, and a second axle extending from the second side of the roller and supported by the support mechanism. The second axle has a resilient element coupled thereto, with the resilient element constantly engaging one of the grooves, and engaging different grooves as the roller is rotated.
Abstract: A lighting source structure has a base having at least one electrode coupled to a power source and a plurality of light sources, with each light source electrically coupled to the electrode to produce light when stimulated. The plurality of light sources are arranged on the base in a manner such that the light produced from the plurality of light sources is projected to form a lighted area that has a central focus point which is separate from the locations of each of the plurality of light sources.
Abstract: A bubble generating assembly has a housing, an air generator associated with the housing, a bubble producing device positioned in front of the air generator to receive air generated from the air generator, and a cover or dipping cup configured as an inverted cup. The cover or dipping cup has an interior and a locking mechanism that removably connects the housing, and the cover or dipping cup retains the bubble producing device in the interior when the cover or dipping cup is connected to the housing. In addition, a bubble generating device has a loop with a cylindrical wall extending from the opening of the loop. The cylindrical wall has a plurality of ridges provided on the inner circumferential surface thereof.
Abstract: A bubble generating assembly has a housing, a container coupled to the housing and retaining bubble solution, a trigger mechanism, a pair of bubble generating rings, a tubing that couples the interior of the container with the rings, and a link assembly that couples the trigger mechanism and the rings in a manner in which actuation of the trigger mechanism causes the rings to be pivoted. Each ring is pivotably coupled to each other in a manner such that the rings can be pivoted between a closed position where the front surfaces of the rings contact each other, and an opened position where the rings are positioned side-by-side in the same plane.
Abstract: A trash can assembly has a shell, a lid fitted over the top end of the shell, a pedal positioned adjacent the bottom end of the shell, a link assembly coupling the pedal and the lid, and a motion damper coupled to the link assembly for slowing the closing motion of the lid. The assembly also includes an inner liner that is retained inside the shell, with a support frame secured to the top end of the shell and having a ridge on which a peripheral lip of the inner liner rests.

Abstract: The invention herein described is a motorcycle guard with retractable footrests. The guard is mounted to the outside of the engine of a motorcycle. The footrests are extended for use, and retracted when no longer needed. A mechanism is installed to prevent over-extension of the footrests.
Abstract: A bubble generating assembly has a housing having a front opening, with a bubble generating ring and a nozzle positioned adjacent the front opening. The assembly has a first container coupled to the housing and retaining bubble solution, and a second container coupled to the housing and retaining a liquid (e.g., water). The first and second containers can be positioned next to each other. The assembly also has a first trigger, and a second trigger positioned next to the first trigger so that a user can simultaneously actuate the first and second triggers.
Abstract: A lens is provided for converting a laser beam into laser lines of uniform brightness. The lens has an emission plane through which the laser beam passes, the emission plane having a continuous incline. There is also provided a method for designing the lens.
