Abstract: A method and system for collision avoidance, carried by each aircraft, includes a miniature MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical Systems) IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), a miniature GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, a display, a data link receiver/transmitter, and a central processing system. Each aircraft carries a GPS receiver coupled with a self-contained miniature IMU for uninterrupted position determination. This position information is shared with other aircraft over an RF (Radio Frequency) data link. An intelligent display shows the relative positions of the aircraft in the immediate vicinity of the host aircraft and issues voice and flashing warnings if a collision hazard exists. This system provides situational awareness to the pilot and enhances the safety of flight.

Abstract: A method of scaling a face image with a spectacle frame image through computer includes the steps of determining a frame scale of a spectacle frame image provided on a computer display screen of the computer with respect to a real size of the spectacle frame; providing a face image of a user on the computer display screen by inputting a front face picture of the user into the computer; moving a pair of pupil marks provided on the computer display screen to two pupils of the face image by way of a computer input device of the computer until the two pupil marks are positioned concentrically with the two pupils of the face image, wherein a distance between the two pupil marks positioned on the two pupils of the face image is measured and recorded in the computer as an image pupil distance of the face image; inputting a real pupil distance of the user into the computer and determining a face scale of the face image by comparing the real pupil distance with the image pupil distance; adjusting the face scale and th
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a geospatial database access and query method, and more particularly to a map and Inertial Measurement Unit/Global Positioning System (IMU/GPS) navigation process. With the location information provided by an IMU/GPS integrated system, the geospatial database operations, such as database access and query, are sped up. With the map data from a geospatial database, the navigation performance and accuracy are enhanced. The present invention also supports real time mapping by using IMU/GPS integrated system as the positioning sensor.
Abstract: A spectacles set includes a primary spectacle frame which comprises a pair of magnetic holders at two nose supports thereof and a detachable shelter frame adapted for mounting in front of the primary spectacle frame. The detachable shelter frame includes a shelter frame for supporting two auxiliary lenses and a pair of magnetic attachment arrangements connected to the shelter frame. Each of the magnetic attachment arrangements includes a supporting arm extending rearwardly from the shelter bridge for riding over a primary bridge of the primary spectacle frame so as to securely mount the shelter frame in front of the primary spectacle frame and a magnetic seat which is connected to the supporting arm and extended to magnetically attach the magnetic holder of the primary spectacle frame so as to hold the shelter frame on the primary spectacle frame in position.
Abstract: A water dispenser stand includes a floor stan having a storage chamber and an opening communicating with the storage chamber and with the outside, a frame for supporting a water bottle on top of the floor stand, and a storage arrangement supported within the storage chamber of the floor stand, wherein the storage arrangement includes a front holding bracket having an arc-shaped positioned at the opening of the storage chamber for substantially retaining an upper portion of the water bottle when the water bottle is received in the storage chamber, a rear stopper arm spaced positioned below the holding bracket, and a guiding body inclinedly extended from the holding bracket to the stopper arm for guiding the water bottle to slide into the storage chamber until a bottom side of the water bottle is stopped at the stopper arm so as to inclinedly support the water bottle in the storage chamber.
Abstract: The present invention, a method of the arbitration of memory request for a computer graphics system, consecutively services the requests having the same type in the same period, thereby increasing the chance of page-hit. In this arbitration method, the length of a fixed period is defined by the 3-D graphics engine in accordance with the amount of memory cycles or the amount of the requests, and is used for controlling the amount of the requests of each type. The length of the period can be the cycles of servicing a block comprising a tile or several tiles. Alternatively, instead of defining a fixed length of the period, the 3-D graphics engine can choose another arbitration method of the present invention. Another arbitration method of the present invention is to mark a message at the end of the drawing block, so that the memory control can decide to rotate the service order to the next type of requests according to the block-end message received.

In which, in an unlocked position that the adjustable knot is normally loosen with respect to the locking guider, the cord stopper is adapted for sliding along the cord in such a manner that when the adjustable knot is positioned above the guiding through slot, the cord stopper is adapted to slide downwardly along the lift cord, and when the adjustable knot is positioned below the guiding through slot, the cord stopper is adapted to slide upwardly along the lift cord. Thereby, the folding or unfolding condition of the slats of the window blind assembly can be locked up by sliding the cord stopper between an upper position and a lower position.
