Abstract: A disposable lighter includes a gas casing receiving a fuel storage, a gas emitting nozzle communicating with the fuel storage for controlling a flow of gas, an outer shelter slidably mounted on a sidewall of the gas casing, a piezoelectric unit supported between the gas casing and the outer shelter, and an actuating arm extended from an inner side of the outer shelter to a top end of the piezoelectric unit in such a manner that when the outer shelter is axially slid with respect to the gas casing, the actuating arm is driven to compress the piezoelectric unit so as to ignite the disposable lighter.

Abstract: An interruption free navigator includes an inertial measurement unit, a north finder, a velocity producer, a positioning assistant, a navigation processor, an altitude measurement, an object detection system, a wireless communication device, and a display device and map database. Output signals of the inertial measurement unit, the velocity producer, the positioning assistant, the altitude measurement, the object detection system, and the north finder are processed to obtain highly accurate position measurements of the person. The user's position information can be exchanged with other users through the wireless communication device, and the location and surrounding information can be displayed on the display device by accessing a map database with the person position information.

Abstract: A sportsball includes a ball cover, a bladder disposed in the ball cover, and a stress absorbing layer provided between the ball cover and the bladder. The ball cover has a valve hole provided thereon and consists of a plurality of panels each having a predetermined shape connected edge to edge to form a roundness shape. The bladder includes a rubber bladder ball, an exterior web layer integrally adhered on an outer surface of the bladder ball, and a valve stem which is mounted on the bladder ball and is outwardly extended through the valve hole of the ball cover for air inflation. The stress absorbing layer consists of a plurality of sheets each has a predetermined shape corresponding to the shape of the panel and each sheet is attached to an inner surface of the panel of the ball cover to provide a uniform thickness of the ball cover.

Abstract: A processing method for motion measurement, which is adapted to apply to output signals proportional to rotation and translational motion of a carrier, respectively from rate sensors and acceleration sensors, is more suitable for emerging MEMS rate and acceleration sensors. Compared with a conventional IMU, the processing method utilizes a feedforward open-loop signal processing scheme to obtain highly accurate motion measurements by means of signal digitizing, temperature control and compensation, sensor error and misalignment calibrations, attitude updating, and damping control loops, and dramatically shrinks the size of mechanical and electronic hardware and power consumption, meanwhile, obtains highly accurate motion measurements.

Abstract: A skateboard truck guard, which is adapted for attaching to a truck having a bottom portion and defining a ground contacting surface thereon, includes an elongated guard body, which is shaped and sized for detachably mounting to the bottom portion of the truck, having an outer side and defining a grinding surface thereon, and an inner side for covering the ground contacting surface and a fastening arrangement mounted on the guard body for securely fastening the guard body on the truck.

Abstract: An airflow balancer for mounting on a ventilation outlet includes an air guider including a supporter having a bottom surface for rotatably supporting on the ventilation outlet and an airflow baffle coaxially mounted to the supporter such that the airflow baffle is suspendedly supported on the ventilation outlet. The airflow baffle has a plurality of ventilating slots for allowing an airflow passing therethrough and a rotor coaxially mounted on the air guider. The rotor is shaped and sized such that, in response to the airflow passing through the rotor, the rotor is driven to rotate, so as to drive the air guider to rotate, wherein a rotational movement of the air guider is adapted for evenly diffusing the airflow through the ventilating slots toward the ventilation outlet.

Abstract: A window blinding system includes a top traverse supporter adapted for affixing to a top beam of a ceiling, a first shading arrangement, and a second shading arrangement. The first shading arrangement includes a first base member, a plurality of first slats, a first blind supporting system for spacedly and suspendedly supporting the first slats horizontally between the top traverse supporter and the first base member, and a first operating system for selectively lifting up and dropping down the first base member towards and from the top traverse supporter. The second shading arrangement includes a plurality of second slats and a second blind supporting system for spacedly and suspendedly supporting the second slats horizontally between the first slats. Therefore, by selectively adjusting positions of the first and second slats, the first and second shading arrangements are capable of providing multiple shading effects.

Abstract: A barbecue lighter incorporates with a safety arrangement which includes an actuating member including a pusher arm disposed in a trigger cavity of the barbecue lighter in a movable manner, and a resilient element disposed between the pusher arm and an ignition trigger for applying an urging pressure against the pusher arm so as to normally retain the pusher arm in a safety position. In the safety position, the pusher arm is positioned away from a depressible end of a gas lever with a predetermined distance. To ignite the barbecue lighter, the pusher arm is required to move to a position that when the ignition trigger is depressed downwardly, the pusher arm is driven downwardly to depress the depressible end of the gas lever for releasing gas, so as to ignite the barbecue lighter.

Abstract: A toy vehicle incorporates with an independent wheel arrangement which includes a supporting leg having an upper inserting portion. The toy vehicle includes a vehicle frame having a through hole to define a top and bottom securing surfaces. The inserting portion of the supporting leg has a base portion and a shank portion to define a biasing shoulder therebetween. The inserting portion of the supporting leg is inserted into the through hole of the vehicle frame until the biasing shoulder is biased against the bottom securing shoulder of the through hole. A wheel is rotatably mounted at a bottom portion of the supporting leg. A locker member is securely attaching to the shank portion of the supporting leg with the through hole and biased against the top securing shoulder of the through hole, so as to securely mount the supporting leg to the vehicle frame.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a protective comforter cover bag which includes a rectangular bag body having a first cover sheet and a second cover sheet peripherally connected together to define a comforter cavity therebetween. The first comforter has an inlet access for placing at least one comforter into the comforter cavity of the cover bag. The inlet access is a quadrilateral opening having four side edges extended along a first side, a second side, a third side and a fourth side of the bag body respectively. The first cover sheet includes a central cover piece having a first edge side, a second edge side, a third edge side and a fourth edge side, wherein the first and the third edge sides of the central cover piece are integrally connected to the first and the third side edges of the inlet access respectively, thus effectively forming an two elongated inlet opening on the first cover sheet of the bag body.

Abstract: A piezoelectric lighter incorporates with a safety arrangement which includes is movably mounted on a casing in a vertical movable manner wherein a guiding slot is provided on top of the casing to communicate with an exterior thereof. A locking member includes a locking arm disposed in the ignition cavity and an operation button slidably mounted on an ignition button. A resilient element is adapted for applying an urging pressure against the locking arm so as to normally retain the locking arm in a locking position. In which, in the locking position, the locking arm blocks up the ignition button from ignition. In order to ignite the piezoelectric lighter, a user's thumb must operate the operation button for moving the locking arm to an unlocking position. Then, the user is able to push the ignition button downwardly to ignite the piezoelectric lighter.

Abstract: A passive/ranging/tracking processing method provides information from passive sensors and associated tracking control devices and GPS/IMU integrated navigation system, so as to produce three dimensional position and velocity information of a target. The passive/ranging/tracking processing method includes the procedure of producing two or more sets of direction measurements of a target with respect to a carrier, such as sets of elevation and azimuth angles, from two or more synchronized sets of passive sensors and associated tracking control devices, installed on different locations of the carrier, computing the range vector measurement of the target with respect to the carrier using the two or more sets of direction measurements, and filtering the range vector measurement to estimate the three-dimensional position and velocity information of the target.

Abstract: A rotation locker stand for outdoor umbrellas includes a rotor, which is rotatably disposed in a chamber of a base housing, including a rotor axial socket for securely and uprightly holding a shaft of the outdoor umbrella, and an actuator for detachably and selectively engaging with the rotor in such a manner that when the actuator is engaged with the rotor, the rotor is in the locking position, when the actuator is disengaged with the rotor, the rotor is adapted for freely rotating in the chamber.
