Abstract: A unique variable orifice electronically controlled common variable rail injector (VOECCRI) for use in internal combustion engines characterized in part by the provision of injection ports or orifices along a tip portion of the nozzle housing having an internal cylindrical surface, and which cooperates in sealing and sliding relation with an internal hollow fuel needle having a cylindrical outer surface. In seating, the needle seats against a frusto-conical seat carried in the closure sac at the lower tip of the assembly, whereby leakage is controlled and precise opening of the injection orifices can be effected and programmed, as desired.
Abstract: A cable guard for a pay-out reel, preferably in the form of an adjustable length flexible belt adapted to be wrapped around a partially paid out reel of cable and to be removably secured to the reel while surrounding a single section of the cable, thereby preventing cable from being paid out from the reel while the cable guard is in place.
Abstract: A universal connector for polarized thermocouple leads and the like wherein a single connector replaces previously required multiple connectors and necessary adaptors. The universal connector is capable of receiving both standard-sized and smaller or miniature-sized male connectors, with resultant savings in parts and manipulative labor.
Abstract: A durable high gloss water-based coating composition highly useful for multicolor printing or as printing inks, and like uses, and which is characterized by a proportioned mixture of ethylene acrylic acid and N-methylpyrrolidone, with resultant avoidance of environmental or toxicity problems, as well as formulation, application, or utilization difficulties.
Abstract: An attachment for a non-collapsible toothpaste tube which when mounted on the toothpaste tube becomes an integral toothbrush holder. The holder attachment is particularly adapted for use with a toothpaste container having a cavity therein for carrying the attachment prior to utilization of the attachment to store or hold toothbrushes.
Abstract: A container guidance system for extrusion presses wherein heat-induced misalignment of the container and container holder from the press centerline axis is prevented or rendered negligible by the substantially diametric positioning of the container holder lugs and their press frame-associated guideways.
Abstract: A supplemental electric water unit for immediately providing hot water of a desired temperature at a point of use, such a hot water faucet, when the standing line hot water from a remote conventional water heater is of insufficient temperature includes a small insulated tank interposed in the supply line immediately before the point of use. The tank is provided with a thermostatically controlled electric heater for maintaining the water the tank at the desired temperature. An inlet passage directs inflowing water from the supply line to the bottom of the tank and an upper water outlet connects the tank to the point of use. A thermostatic valve in the water inlet passage opens to automatically to bypass inflowing water of proper temperature directly to the top of the tank for discharge through the outlet.
Abstract: A reliable, inexpensive wear plate attachment for conventional toilet flush valve assemblies which is easily attached to the same for repair of a broken or worn pivoted valve stop wall portion, or, for attachment prior to breakdown in a program of preventative maintenance, thereby obviating expensive and more complex replacement of a major portion of the valve assembly.
Abstract: An oil free polyester high solids formulation giving a protective coating having corrosion resistance, surface hardness. The coating includes a highly methylated melamine cross-linking agent; an acid catalyst; a polar solvent system; wetting, defoaming and anti-sagging agents; and pigments. The composition has low VOC, high solids content, and controlled viscosity. It may be applied by hot tank dipping, flow coating, air or electrostatic spraying, with subsequent curing at 300.degree.-350.degree. F. for about 20 minutes.
Abstract: A three-wheel golf bag cart is shown which includes power means centrally slung thereunder for maximum stability of the cart, and wherein the power means does not impede cart folding for transport and storage. A flexible elongated control cable to a hand-held control permits the golfer to effect off-on or multiple forward speed control while still retaining the ability to manually guide the cart, both by the cart handle and by tension on the control cable.
