Patent number: 7525037Abstract: A method, device and application for combining one or more multimedia content sources (e.g., songs) together and rendering the composite output to a user in a user sensible format that is audibly pleasing to the user through a player. A first multimedia content source and a second multimedia content source is selected. An analysis is made of the sources to find at least one candidate from each source to mix together. At least one candidate from each source is selected. The beat length associated with each the selected candidate is set and adjusted, if necessary. A fade mixing profile is selected. The fade mix profile adjusts a volume parameter associated with the selected candidate from each source over a transition period of time. The selected candidate from each source together is mixed according to the fade mixing profile to transition over the transition period time between the first multimedia content source and the second multimedia content source to form a beat mix transition.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2007Date of Patent: April 28, 2009Assignee: Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications ABInventors: Emil Hansson, Jonas M. Patent number: 7422572Abstract: Invention relates to catheter placement devices for peripheral blood vessel catheterization with protected needle tip and shortened length in a transport position (see FIG. 31). In the transport position (FIG. 9), the needle and catheter units (1 and 5) are held inside the handle (8). User transposes the needle and catheter units into a duty ready position (FIG. 6), wherein the needle unit is engaged with the handle distal end and a catheter hub (7) protrudes distally out of the handle. After catheter insertion into patient vein, user disconnects the needle unit and handle allowing the needle unit retraction by a resilient member (11) into the protection position. The trigger and transposing means (22) location enables the apparatus single handed control. The fixation means (31) in the protection position eliminates repeated needle unit advance. It can be used rubber or spiral spring resilient members and the catheter hubs with foldable side wings and side port.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2002Date of Patent: September 9, 2008Assignee: Serpomed Ltd.Inventors: Sergey Popov, Leonid Lukov

Patent number: 7308549Abstract: A technique is provided for storing updated values of a data item in a segment of memory in which stored values cannot be individually overwritten, such as a flash memory. Each updated value is stored at an address which has space for a far pointer and a local pointer. When a new value is stored, the local pointer of the previous value is set to point to the address of the new value. When a chain of nodes of this type has been established and a further update value is to be stored, it is entered at a new node and a far pointer at a much earlier node of the chain is set to point to the new node so that the most recent value can be found without having to follow the local pointers in all of the previous nodes.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2003Date of Patent: December 11, 2007Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Andrew Kay, Richard Miller
