  • Patent number: 4004223
Abstract: A resistance or voltage tester for producing an audible tone that varies inversely with resistance or voltage. The device comprises an audible wide range resistance and medium range voltage tester in the form of a rectangular small box designed to fit into a shirt pocket. The tester includes a speaker driven by low current logic gates and a transistor. The frequency of the speaker varies inversely proportional to the measured resistances ranging from zero to over 50 megohms and also inversely proportional to the voltage measured. In particular cases, the device can also be used as an audio signal source and with the use of a suitable probe the voltage range can be increased to +400 VDC or 260 VAC.

  • Patent number: 3992003
Abstract: An aerosol container having sealed propellant means comprises a flexible propellant bag having air or inert gases under pressure and a predetermined quantity of product located within the container. In a first embodiment, the propellant bag is fixedly mounted at the outlet and includes a separate valve for loading of the pressurized gas. A second valve is mounted at the outlet and is connected to a perforated tube which extends downwardly into the container to emit product when the valve stem is depressed. Actuation of the valve stem causes the propellant bag to expand forcing the product out through the valve. In a second embodiment, the container includes a plurality of product bags which are mounted to a valve arrangement at the outlet and a pressurized propellant which is forced into the container to maintain the product bags under pressure. The valve arrangement comprises a separate valve for each product bag and a valve for loading the propellant into the container tube.

  • Patent number: 3964418
Abstract: A floating campgrounds comprises one or more barge type units which are coupled together to form an integral camping system. A typical floating campground would include fenced areas on the upper surface thereof where recreational vehicles are secured, storage facilities in the hull for automobiles, camping support facilities and a tug or tow type vessel to move the barge units over waterways. The various barges would also include facilities such as a swimming pool, restaurant and recreational and living facilities. The barge system would travel over inland waterways, while campers live in their vehicles and enjoy the facilities provided on board. This transport arrangement would result in considerable fuel savings while providing a unique flexible vacation environment.
