Abstract: A toy race car and track system are disclosed having illuminated portions in the car and the track that are illuminated by light sources based on movement of the car on the track. The car includes a pull-back motor and has translucent windows for display of the light source inside the car. The track is a modular track system having interchangeable track portions and other parts. The track system includes a jump and a gauge for measuring the height of a vehicle on the jump. The gauge illuminates when the car travels through it and includes a break-away sign at the end of the gauge that detaches when the car reaches the end. The track system also includes a jump and loop portion, in which the jump launches the car upside down toward one of a plurality of loops that catch the car and redirect it back toward the jump. The car then is launched from the jump to an inner loop to decreased jump speed, and the process repeats until the car no longer has sufficient speed to reach the loops.

Abstract: A two frame sofa bed recliner has a seat frame, a back frame, and a pair of arm frames connected to both sides of the recliner. Vertical and horizontal slots are located in each of the arm frames. A first pin connected to a side of an upper portion of the back frame extends into the vertical slot. A second pin connected tog a lower portion of a side of the back frame extends into the horizontal slot. The pins move along the slots to guide the recliner from an upright to a fully reclined position and vice verse. An enlarged corner of the vertical slot securely engages the first pin when the recliner is in the fully reclined position preventing the recliner from jackknifing upward. Counter absorbing elements are fixedly attached to the side of the seat frame absorbs stress or pressure from the slots as the pins move therein and this stress is transferred uniformly along the attached surface of the seat frame.
Abstract: A decorative ornament for a hood of an automobile includes a weather resistant first layer and a second layer adhesively bonded to said first weather resistant layer. The first weather resistant layer may have a design printed or placed on by other technique including by ink or photography. The second layer has magnetic properties which connects the second layer flatly and firmly to the hood of the car to decorate the car.
Abstract: The invention relates to an eyeglass frame having a portion of the frame removably coupled to the body of the frame to permit the removal and replacement of the lenses in the frame.

Abstract: This present invention relates to a soda bottle cap having a shell with a spout and a flexible top, and a seal that has an opening through which liquid can flow out when the flexible top is pressed down. With the structure of this soda bottle cap it is possible to release the carbonated liquid from the soda bottle using the high pressure of CO.sub.2 gas inside. When the flexible top is pressed down, the seal changes shape and does not block inner hole (6) so that the liquid in the bottle can be pushed out through the tube(12), and then through the center hole(9) of the seal, and then through channels (10) of the seal, and then through the inner hole (6) of the shell, and then through the spout (4) by the inner hole (6) of the shell, and then through the spout (40 by the high pressure of CO gas in the bottle. When the force on the flexible top (7) is released after use, the flexible top and the seal go back to its original shape.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a decorative lighting system arranged in a bunched or clustered fashion. The system includes a lighting string having wired branches of various lengths, small light bulbs fixed to these branches, colored globes with the sleeve shaped openings and connecting members connecting the light bulbs inside of the globes. This decorative ornament includes a sleeve or cup for looping the lighting string therein and an elastic loop of material threaded and connected through and an opening in the sleeve from which the ornament can be hung.
Abstract: By using a sheet beam and a charge-storing target measuring the differential of the deposited charge, one can greatly improve the performance of a scan converter. A segmented target provides instantaneous analog output.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an indoor and an outdoor decorative lighting system. The invention includes a lighting string, preferably of 18 light bulbs and a plug for putting into an outlet, a number of globes, preferably made of plastic and each having one of a variety of colors, and connecting elements for connecting the light bulbs to an opening in the globe. The connecting members have external elements for engaging internal lip in the sleeve shaped opening of the globe and internal rib members for engaging and securing the light bulb in place within the connecting member.
