  • Patent number: 5653018
Abstract: The connection of the circuit board (7) of the appliance to connector blocks (10) is obtained by inserting and soldering holders (11) having connecting terminals (16) to the circuit board, connector blocks (10) being loosely attached to said connecting terminals (16). The mutual mechanical and electric connection is obtained by inserting the assembly into a case which secures the connector blocks to the circuit board, on one hand, and by fastening clamps which establish a connection of the connecting terminals (16) to connected conductors. The assembly of the appliance is particularly rational since the holders (11) with the connecting terminals are placed on the circuit board together with the remaining, non-represented components and are soldered thereto in common, the connector blocks (10) being simply slid on. The assembly is thus well suited for automation. The connector blocks abut to the edges of the circuit board (7), thus allowing a good space utilization and a compact construction.

  • Patent number: 5643322
Abstract: The present method is a method for reducing an oxidized skin tissue comprising the steps of bringing a source of negative high-voltage pulses of which duty ratio is controllable into the proximity of the oxidized skin tissue and applying negative high-voltage pulses to the oxidized skin tissue so that the oxidized skin tissue is reduced by an electron addition reaction. A high-voltage generating circuit which is incorporated in a main body generates negative high-voltage pulses. Those negative high-voltage pulses are applied to the skin through a contact element which is connected to the main body, so that the oxidized skin tissue is reduced by the electron addition reaction.

  • Patent number: 5639289
Abstract: Unworked glass panes (9) are definitively positioned in a positioning station (15) by means of positioning stops (18) and transferred in a fixed position first to a grinding station (12) and then to a transfer station (7) by a translating device (20, 21, 22, 23). From the transfer station (7), the ground panes are transferred by means of a feeding device (6) to a drilling station (1) where holes are drilled into the panes. The finished panes are then returned to the transfer station (7) and are removed therefrom. A complete treatment is thus effected in a once determined position without any subsequent positioning. The drilling station is therefore free from any positioning means.

  • Patent number: 5604962
Abstract: A zip-fastener slide with pull tab can be manufactured in one single injection step. For this purpose the opening beneath the bow on the slide body, serving to secure the pull tab, is fashioned by four movable mould cores. The four mould cores are shifted into the mould before injection, and withdrawn in order to eject the finished slide again from the mould. Similarly it is also possible to provide a locking cam which, when in the inoperative position, projects into the intermediate space between two zipper links and blocks the movement of the slide. By means of pulling on the pull tab, the locking cam can be withdrawn from this intermediate space, and the slide can be released.

  • Patent number: 5327122
Abstract: The apparatus embodies an inquiry unit with a radio frequency emitter and an answering unit (transponder) with a frequency divider for the frequency of the emitter of the inquiry unit. The divided frequency is modulated with the data inside the transponder as a carrier frequency in a phase modulator for the transmission of the answer and the so modulated signal is delivered to a demodulator of the inquiry unit. In the demodulator, the original data sequence is recovered from the received phase modulated signal with the help of an unmodulated reference signal derived from the frequency transmitted by the inquiry unit itself, using an algorithm implemented by means of a digital signal processor, independently of the phase relationship between the phase modulated signal and the internal reference and with negligible delay.
