Abstract: The invention relates to aqueous hair-treatment compositions comprising one or more quaternary ammonium compounds which are sparingly soluble in water and which contain at least one long-chain alkyl or alkenyl group having at least 18 carbon atoms, one or more water-soluble quaternary ammonium compounds, one or more nonionic, amphoteric and/or zwitterionic solubility promoters and optionally one or more thickeners. The compositions according to the invention are distinguished by a clear and translucent appearance. In particular, the compositions are hair cures and hair rinses.
