Abstract: A tool for disconnecting the air and electrical connections between a motor vehicle and a trailer or a utility hookup station includes a handle and a forked member. The trailer connection includes an electrical socket with pins covered by a hinged cover plate; the motor vehicle connection includes a plug member. The forked member of the tool includes a pair of parallel hooks, one at the end of each of two linear elements of the forked member. A sloped interface portion on the forked member of the tool lifts the hinged cover plate away from the trailer's socket. The forked member is placed around the electrical connection adjacent the plug member and is pushed forward to lift the hinged cover plate. Once the hinged cover plate is lifted, the handle is pushed towards the motor vehicle, where the hooks engage lugs on the plug member, thus causing the plug member to separate from the electrical socket. Gripping grooves on the linear elements help to facilitate engagement between the tool and the lugs.
Abstract: A bamboo wind power megawatts producer is provided in which the surfaces of rotor blades capture and compress the laminar flowing wind through the turbulent rotor vortex wherein great amounts of energy are extracted from the wind in volumetric quantities within the confines of the housing assembly for rotating the power generators to produce great quantities of megawatts of electric currents after which the exhausted wind is dumped to the low pressure area leeward of the operating rotor assembly.
Abstract: The invention is a tool that may be attached to a computer display screen or built-in with a computer. The tool is mounted to a computer and provides a user with the ability to align the computer display screen with their eye so that the user's line of sight is perpendicular to the display screen, which is the optimal viewing angle for viewing a display screen. In a first embodiment of the invention, the tool includes an interface portion, which is where the tool is attached to the frame of the computer, either temporarily or permanently, and an alignment portion. The first embodiment of the alignment tool may be detached from one computer and used with another. The alignment portion includes a pair of alignment indexes, which, when lined up with the user's eye, ensures that the user is viewing the computer display screen at the optimal angle. In a second embodiment of the alignment tool, the tool is installed as original equipment on the computer.
Abstract: A river power generating apparatus is provided in which a plurality of angular baffles are configured to extract and combine the available energy from flowing river water into a force for rotating an electric generator to 1800 rpm to produce large quantities of electric current without using a hydro-electric dam thereby allowing wild salmon to spawn upstream of the river. The angular baffles can harvest and convert the energy of the ocean currents and tides into great amounts of electric power.
Abstract: A cooling, carbonation and dispensing system for use with a liquid in a keg includes a cooling ring mounted on top of the keg. The cooling ring includes a toroidal-shaped shell into which dry ice is placed. The cooling ring and dry ice provide contact cooling of the keg, as well as carbon dioxide gas by sublimation of the dry ice to carbonate the liquid in the keg and pressure on the liquid so that it may be dispensed from the keg. A chilling unit having a hose bundle is mounted on top of the cooling ring. A liquid dispensing hose from the keg coupler on the keg connects to the hose bundle, so that liquid from the keg passes through the hose bundle. A lid having a tower is attached to the top of the chilling unit and latched to it to form a water-tight seal. Another hose connects to the hose bundle in the chilling unit and conducts the liquid to a dispensing hose attached to a dispenser in the tower.

Abstract: A paper making apparatus includes a mould having a mesh screen and a deckle of comparable size. The deckle includes a shaped inner edge for directing pulp onto the screen. The mould and deckle are held together and dipped in a vat having a pulp and water slurry to form a sheet of paper. The mould and deckle are constructed of materials that will not warp, crack, twist, or otherwise deform from repeated use in water. The mould also includes structural ribs to hold its shape. An alternative embodiment of the invention includes a mould having a mesh screen and structural support ribs and a deckle box having a shaped inner lip and a sealing means attached to the lip. The combination of mould and deckle box may be dipped in water and does not require the presence of a vat having a pulp stock. Pulp may be poured into the mould and deckle box assembly. The mould and deckle box are constructed of materials that will not warp, crack, twist, or otherwise deform under normal use in water.

Abstract: An apparatus for securing a motor vehicle seat belt includes a housing, a control module, a jaw and a clamp. The jaw and the clamp are connected by a hinge. Gripping elements on the bottom of the housing and the top of the clamp allow the securing device to be attached to the seat belt when it is in extended position, providing extra slack in the belt to allow a person to secure an individual sitting in an auxiliary seat to be secured to a motor vehicle seat by means of the motor vehicle seat belt system. Audible and visible indicators are incorporated to let the person know that the apparatus is still in place and should be removed after the auxiliary seat has been attached to the seat belt, thereby securing the individual in the auxiliary seat.
Abstract: A steerable snow sled has a forward section pivotably joined to a rear section, with metal runners attached to the bottom of both sections. A steering arm is attached to the forward section. The forward section also includes a pivot assembly that is attached to the runners. The rear section includes several sliding connections between the sled and the runners that allow the runners to bend in an arc when a person riding the sled applies turning pressure to the steering arm.
Abstract: A toothbrush includes a handle that is sized and configured for grasping, and a head that is provided with bristles. The head may be removed from the handle and replaced. Toothpaste may be contained in the head and forced into the bristles. The handle and a number of heads may be provided in a kit. Each head is provided in a separate sealed housing that allows the head to be attached to the handle without requiring a person assembling the toothbrush to remove the head from the packaging or touch the head.
Abstract: A system and method for providing access to animal food utilizes identification tags on domestic animals, generally attached to a collar. The identification tag generates a signal that is detected by a receiver mounted on an enclosed food container. When the receiver detects a pre-selected acceptable signal from an animal, it activates a motor that causes a movable portion of the container to move to an open position. If the signal is no longer detected by the receiver, it activates the motor to move the movable portion of the container to a closed position. If the receiver detects a signal from an identification tag that is not one of the pre-selected signals, it activates the motor to move the movable portion of the container to a closed position.
Abstract: A sliding recreational device having a body, a seating area for a passenger, and a sliding pan mounted on the bottom of the body is disclosed. A cushioning element mounted in the body protects a passenger from injury while riding the device. By applying certain patterns to the bottom of the sliding pan, a stable, more predictable ride path is made possible for the rider. The addition of a system of pivoting braking elements and cabling enable a passenger to steer and brake the device.
Abstract: A portable sprayer comprising a generally cylindrically shaped tube and an air volume chamber, a piston rod inserted in the cylinder, a container for holding a material, a spray nozzle, and a delivery tube inserted in the container and extended to the spray nozzle is contained in a single unit. The spraying operation is activated by applying a pumping action to the piston rod. An air control valve mounted to the sprayer allows for the rapid bleed off of air from the unit. The preferred embodiment of the invention is of a size and weight so that it may easily carried.
