Abstract: A handheld electronic device having a slide-and-twist mechanism for changing between multiple device positions is provided. A slide-and-twist style form factor allows the device configuration and/or exposed input devices to be changed by the device user. The different device positions may support different operational modes or uses of the device by exposing different input devices.

Abstract: A microphone boot for a portable electronic device and a portable electronic device having such a microphone boot are provided. In accordance with one embodiment, there is provided a portable electronic device, comprising: a printed circuit board (PCB); a microphone attached to the PCB and defining an aperture therein; a frame enclosing the microphone and PCB and defining an opening therein; a cap attached to the frame and defining an aperture therein; and a microphone boot received in the opening in the frame and defining an acoustic channel between the aperture in the microphone and the aperture in the cap.

Abstract: An audible subsurface fishing lure, for travelling below the surface of a body of water when the lure is retrieved. The lure includes a subsurface lure body having a front, a rear, and a longitudinal axis extending between the front and the rear. A spinner is rotatably coupled to the lure body and rotatable about a first axis generally parallel to the longitudinal axis. Furthermore, a contact member is pivotally coupled to the lure body and engageable with the spinner when the spinner is rotating to produce sound for attracting fish.
