    Abstract: A built laundry detergent composition contains a combination of anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants which includes a highly ethoxylated nonionic surfactant which is a C8-C16 alcohol ethoxylated with an average of from 20 to 50 ethylene oxide groups. The cationic surfactant may advantageously be an ethoxylated quaternary ammonium compound. The composition exhibits improved oily soil detergency.
