Abstract: A diagnostic composition suitable for administration to a warm-blooded animal comprising a whole, fragmented, or recombinant MH-1 monoclonal antibody labeled with a Tc-99m triamide thiolate (N.sub.3 S) bifunctional chelate capable of intravenous injection into an animal to produce reliable visual imaging of thrombi.
Abstract: Triiodinated isophthalamide derivatives, useful as X-ray contrast agents, having at least one amide group derived from the amino-alcohol, 3-(N-2-hydroxyethyl)amino-1,2-propanediol, which provides high water solubility and low mammalian toxicity, and methods of preparing them. Methods of preparing 3-(N-2-hydroxyethyl)amino-1,2-propanediol are provided.

Abstract: The compound N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-glycolamido]-N'-methyl-2,4,6 -triiodoisophthalamide and similar such compounds may be used as x-ray contrast agents which are water-soluble, safe and in an aqueous solution are non-viscous. Methods of preparing N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-[N-(2-hdyroxyethyl)glycolamido]-N'-methyl-2,4,6- triiodoisophthalamide are provided.

Abstract: A process for the production of N,N'-bis(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)glycolamido-2,4,6-triiod oisopht alamide wherein a mixture of 1,1,2-trichloroethane and 5-[(N-(2-acetoxyethyl)acetoxyacetamido]N,N'-bis(2,3-diacetoxypropyl)-2,4,6 -triiodoisophthalamide (hexaacetate) is distilled to remove 1,1,2-trichloroethane, at least a part of which is distilled as an azeotrope with water, so that a solvent exchange is effected to produce a mixture of hexaacetate in water. Hydrolysis of hexaacetate produces the desired product.
Abstract: A sanitary packaging system and method of using the same for the packaging of a sanitary product comprising a sanitary housing portion, a product bag, a sliding adjustment tube and a product tube. The product tube extends inside the sanitary housing portion and is flexibly attached to the sliding adjustment tube to which the product bag is attached. The sanitary product under pressure passes through the product tube, sliding adjustment tube and into the product bag to complete packaging. Sanitized air is blown through the sanitary housing enclosure to create a positive pressure therein, whereby in the case of a leak within the product bag, sliding adjustment tube or product entry tube, sanitary product leaks outwardly therefrom rather than allowing contaminates to be pulled inwardly and contaminate said sanitized product.
