  • Patent number: 6833121
Abstract: An ozone generator comprises an electrode located within a dielectric tube with a ground electrode formed on the outer surface of the tube. The tube and ground electrode are surrounded by a coding jacket to allow the coolant to come into contact with the ground electrode and provide efficient cooling.

  • Patent number: 6817316
Abstract: A trailer for transporting live poultry hatchlings has a cargo space for containing a plurality of perforated hatching containers. The hatching containers are stacked to create a central passage for air flow along the length of the trailer from which the air is admitted into a side duct on each side of the trailer through apertures in each side wall of the cargo space. This creates a transverse flow of air through the hatchling containers. A variety of measures may be undertaken alone or in combination to promote a similar transverse flow of air at all positions along the length of the trailer. The size of the apertures, spacing between apertures, cross-sectional area of the side ducts, cross-sectional area of the cargo space, or a combination thereof, may be varied along the length of the trailer to promote a similar transverse flow of air at all positions along the length of the trailer.

  • Patent number: 6811705
Abstract: A wastewater treatment system for use on marine vessels or land-based applications treats wastewater by solids separation and oxidation. The system includes a solids separation tank, an oxidation tank having a plurality of chambers and a fluid circuit for re-circulating treated wastewater into the solids separation tank and oxidation tank for further treatment. An ozone generator produces ozone which is dissolved in the treated wastewater in the re-circulating fluid conduit and is used for the solids separation and oxidation processes. The treated wastewater is periodically discharged into the environment.

  • Patent number: 6767171
Abstract: An apparatus for loading and un-loading a recreational vehicle from a truck. The truck has a front and rear and a longitudinal axis defined therebetween. The apparatus comprises, in one embodiment, a vehicle receiving ramp and a lifting mechanism engaged with the underside of the ramp. The lifting mechanism is mounted to the rear of the truck and is selectively operable to arcuately move the ramp between a lowered position that is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis and a raised position that is parallel with the longitudinal axis. The ramp is longitudinally mobile in the raised position between a foremost and rearmost position and is selectively lockable in the foremost and rearmost positions using a locking mechanism. To load the recreational vehicle, the ramp is preferably locked in the rearmost longitudinal position and placed in the lowered position for receiving the vehicle.
