Abstract: A retaining wall module with a front wall which includes a rearwardly depending horizontal base wall and two upstanding rearwardly depending side walls. The front wall extends beyond the attachment of the side walls. Another horizontal base wall is attached to the bottom of the extending portion of the front wall and to a side wall. Recesses are provided at the top and bottom of the side walls for receiving transversely, stabilizer bars which bridge between adjacent modules. Bar or ridge means on the bottom wall, generally parallel to the front wall, retain geogrid fabric when covered with weighty material.
