Patent number: 8220984Abstract: An apparatus for producing a mixture of various bulk materials, comprising a weighing device that is carried by the framework of the apparatus. A weighing container is suspended or supported by the weighing device, and is adapted to receive a desired mixture of bulk material components from supply containers via an upper inlet. A mixing device extends from above into the weighing container and is driven by motor-transmission means that is mounted on the framework and is gravimetrically separate from the weighing container. The mixing device is permanently suspended on the motor-transmission means free of the weighing container.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2006Date of Patent: July 17, 2012Assignee: INOEX GmbHInventors: Martin Deters, Wolfgang Schäfer

Patent number: 7849782Abstract: A large-caliber gun integrated into a military ship and mounted with the turret and the weapons system of an armored howitzer. Disposed below the turret body portion is a shell magazine in which is installed a shell transporter that grasps the shells and supplies them to a shell-raising mechanism, by means of which the shells are conveyed from the shell magazine into the turret body portion. A shell transfer arm, pivotably mounted on the trunnion of the weapon, carries at one end a charger that in the raised position of the shell transfer arm is aligned with the gun bore axis of the weapon, and in the lowered position is aligned with the direction of movement of the shell-raising mechanism. The shells are introduced from the shell-raising mechanism directly into the charger and after pivoting-up of the shell transferring arm are supplied to the weapon.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2007Date of Patent: December 14, 2010Assignee: Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. Patent number: 7845171Abstract: A supercharged internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle has a cooling circuit, in which a working medium is recycled, which is conveyed at least partially in a vaporous or gaseous physical state. At least one expander unit is provided which is operatively connected with an output shaft of the internal combustion engine via a power train. Via a conversion of energy contained in the at least partially vaporous or gaseous working medium in the expander unit, an output shaft of the expander unit is moveable. The expander unit is embodied as a two-cycle reciprocating engine, which is operatively connected directly or indirectly via the power train with the output shaft of the internal combustion engine.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2007Date of Patent: December 7, 2010Assignee: MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AGInventors: Heribert Möller, Gottfried Raah

Patent number: 7523736Abstract: A device for increasing the braking power of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine of a vehicle during engine braking operation includes a turbo supercharger and an exhaust gas turbine for each stage thereof. A respective bypass line branches off from a region of two exhaust gas header pipes that can be blocked by throttle valves. Each bypass line communicates with a nozzle bore in a turbine wall. During an engine braking operation, two partial exhaust gas streams are branched off by the bypass lines from exhaust gas retained in blocked header pipes and strike turbine wheel blades at high pressure and high speed, whereupon the turbo supercharger is driven in an accelerated manner and compressed air is supplied to combustion chambers of the engine and is there effective to increase braking power.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2006Date of Patent: April 28, 2009Assignee: MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Österreich AGInventors: Franz Rammer, Franz Leitenmayr, Gottfried Raab

Patent number: 7511278Abstract: An apparatus for detecting particles, comprising a plurality of electrically conductive structures disposed on a support element. The structures are electrically insulated from one another and each structure can be electrically connected to an electronic read-out device. The structures receive a beam of particles in a direction forming an angle of incidence with the support element. A trough is disposed between each two successive structures as viewed in the beam direction. And at least partial overlap exists between each two successive structures. The apparatus can be disposed in the focal plane of a mass spectrometer.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2006Date of Patent: March 31, 2009Assignee: Spectro Analytical Instruments GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Adi A. Scheidemann, Dirk Ardelt, M. Bonner Denton

Patent number: 7494113Abstract: A carburetor having a carburetor body in which an intake channel portion is formed. At least one fuel opening opens out into the intake channel portion. Pivotably mounted in the intake channel portion is a butterfly valve that in a completely opened position divides the intake channel, in the region of the butterfly valve, into a mixture channel and a feed channel, so that in the completely opened position of the butterfly valve, flowing into the feed channel is combustion air having a fuel content that is less than the fuel content in the mixture channel. Provided in the intake channel portion is at least one partition section that extends between the feed channel and the mixture channel. The partition section is formed on the carburetor body.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2007Date of Patent: February 24, 2009Assignee: Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KGInventors: Maximilian Eberhardt, Patrick Schiauch

Patent number: 6281671Abstract: An electrode component group for a corrosion measuring system for detecting corrosion of a metal embedded in a construction component of ion-conducting material has a rod-shaped base body having a first flange member at a first end of base body and a second flange member at a second end of base body. The base body is insertable into the construction component with the first end leading. A plurality of spacer rings is positioned on the base body between the first and second flange members. The metal electrode rings and sealing rings are arranged alternatingly between the spacer rings. Each one of the metal electrode rings have an electrical line connected to a measuring circuit external to the construction component. The electrical lines are guided inside the metal electrode rings to the second end of the base body. A device for reducing a spacing between the first and second flange members is provided.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 1999Date of Patent: August 28, 2001Inventors: Peter Schiessl, Michael Raupach, Klaus Kollberg
