    Abstract: The invention comprises an improvement in a locking puller device. The locking puller has three pivotally mounted jaws and a cam ring which moves forward to pivot and lock the jaws about an object. The improvement comprises a projecting lug structure suspended only from the cam ring which projects beneath the under surfaces of the jaws to cam the jaws apart as the cam ring moves rearward with the projecting lug of the cam ring engaging the undersurfaces of the jaws. The under surfaces of the jaws follow a tapered path relative to the movement of the cam ring so as to cam the jaws apart.

    Abstract: The invention comprises a holder or support for the outlet plug of an electric heater for an engine of a vehicle. The holder has a pair of parallel plates adapted to be fixed on opposite sides of a front bumper of the vehicle. A pivotally mounted plate is pivotally mounted to one of the parallel plates which may be pivoted to lock it in a selected position depending upon the configuration of the front portions of the vehicle. The pivotally mounted plate has a hole therethrough to receive the prongs of the outlet plug of the heater. The pivotally mounted plate also has clamping means to clamp the plug to the plate when the plug is mounted in the hole in the plate with the prongs projecting forward to receive an extension cord plug to provide current to the heater.

    Abstract: The invention comprises a golf practice swing apparatus. The apparatus has a base support with a main pole extending upward at a slight angle toward the position where a golfer would normally stand. A swing arm is mounted on the main pole and pivotally mounted to rotate on an axis perpendicular to the length of the main pole and in a plane parallel to the main pole. The swing arm has a spring biased lever pivotally mounted to the lower end of the swing arm to pivot in generally the same plane as the swing arm rotates. A club head is mounted to the lower end of the lever and a club shaft is pivotally mounted to the club head and projects toward the position the golfer would normally stand. The club head lies in the general plane of the swing with its face perpendicular to the plane.

    Abstract: The invention comprises an attachment for a pole skidder vehicle for hauling and stacking cut logs. The attachment is adapted to be mounted to the rear of a conventional pole skidder vehicle and has a pair of upright fixed arms. A pivotally mounted plate is pivotally mounted to the upper ends of the fixed arms and is hydraulically actuated. A separate length of cable is used to initially stack the cut logs thereon. A winch cable from the vehicle has a plurality of detachable connections at its other end whereby the winch cable may be placed across the top of the stack and connected to the outer ends of the separate length of cable to encircle the stack. A winch on the vehicle may then wind the winch cable to draw the stack up against the movable plate and the initial stack of cut logs may be hauled to a stacking location.

    Abstract: The invention comprises a two directional cushioning device for towing trailers and the like behind a towing vehicle. The device has a first pair and second pair of parallel rods. The first pair of rods are joined at the outer forward ends for attachment to a towing vehicle. The first and second pair of rods are aligned in parallel overlapping relation to one another and are slidably mounted in a pair of caps. One of the caps is adjacent the forward end of the first pair of rods and the other cap is adjacent the rearward end of the second pair of rods. A coil spring is mounted coaxially between the caps urging the caps apart under compression. Nuts are threaded onto the overlapping ends of rods limiting the caps' outward movement relative to one another.

    Abstract: The invention comprises a watering device for watering gardens and the like without constant attention. The device has a box-like construction and has an L-shaped passageway therethrough with an inlet and outlet for connection between the sprinkler and a source of water at the opposite ends of the passageway. A solenoid operated valve is mounted in the passageway, with a solenoid upon actuation moving the valve to open the passageway. A timer is mounted on top of the box to actuate the solenoid at a selected hour of the day to thereby allow water to flow through the passageway to the sprinkler for sprinkling, which timer will maintain the solenoid actuated for a selected amount of time.     Abstract: The invention comprises a self leveling tractor which automatically levels the main frame of the tractor relative to the front and rear axles and wheels of the tractor. The tractor has a pair of axle frames beneath the underside of the main frame at the front and rear portions respectively of the tractor. The axle frames are pivotally mounted to the main frame about a common axis which extends longitudinally from the front to the rear of the tractor along the underside of the main frame. A pair of hydraulic cylinders are positioned on opposite sides of the rear of the tractor, one cylinder is pivotally connected between the main frame on one side of the rear axle frame. The other cylinder is pivotally connected between the main frame and the other side of the rear axle frame. The front and rear axles have wheels at their outer ends. The front and rear axles are fixed to the front and rear axle frames, respectively, to pivot with the axle frames.

The paint carrier plate also has a pair of fixed hooks and a pair of pivotally mounted hooks with the hooks being attachable to the rungs of the ladder to attach the paint carrier plate at different heights on the rungs of the ladder.

The puller has three jaws each pivotally mounted to a collar to enable the jaws to pivot radially toward one another to engage such objects to pull such objects off of a shaft. The apparatus has a cam ring with a triangular shape and rearwardly extending braces which are fixed to a rearward ring. The collar has a rearwardly threaded cylindrical portion with a nut threaded onto the cylindrical portion. The nut has an annular groove with the rearward ring rotatably mounted to a nut in the groove. The cam ring surrounds jaws at a location forward of the pivotal mounting of the jaw. The jaws are tapered.

The heated cylinder is electrically heated by an electric heating element mounted within the heating cylinder. The heated cylinder has means to support the cylinder with one end slightly higher than horizontal from the other end. The upper end of the heating cylinder has radially directed outlet hole means directing water from within the cylinder out of the cylinder back into the water in the tank in at least three different directions. The three different directions are in a path laterally outward from the longitudinal axis of the cylinder in at least approximately 90 degree intervals to one another. The upper end of the cylinder has closure means to cause water within the cylinder to be directed out radially directed outlet means.

    Abstract: The invention comprises a holding device for aligning a stone in relation to a rod for attachment of the rod to the stone. The holder device has a platform with clamping means to secure a stone thereon with the center of the stone centrally on the platform. The platform also has a support member which extends over the center of a platform with a channel member fixed to the support member above the center of the platform and extending down towards the center of the platform in perpendicular relation, whereby the rod may be secured in the channel with their lower ends of the rod abutting the stone at approximately the center of the stone and the rod may be glued to the stone. The rod may be held in the channel in its abutting perpendicular central position by being tied to the channel member until the glue has hardened, whereupon the rod and stone may be removed from the holder, with the rod attached centrally to the stone and the rod may be used to rotate the stone for grinding and shaping the stone.
