Abstract: A combination cosmetic purse and display package whereby an article to be displayed for purchase may be hung on a conventional point-of-purchase display rod and then that portion of the overall package provided for such purpose removed such that the remaining purse portion of the overall package may be used in a conventional manner such as a purse or carrier for cosmetics and personal items and wherein the travel of a slide closure is limited by a fused area of cooperating side panels which form the opening for the package.
