  • Patent number: 5425642
Abstract: Capturing the attention of the audience by having them watch letters being arranged on a blackboard in what appears to be a completely random, jumbled manner as words germane to the topic of discussion are enunciated, and then seeing those letters combined, perhaps with a few filler letters, to spell out yet another word which also is germane to the topic of discussion.

  • Patent number: 4967574
Abstract: A charm having a body wall, an extremity, a pin secured to an inner surface of the extremity and extending through the body wall, and a retaining ring secured tightly against the body wall and being around the pin. The extremity is thereby rotatably connected to the body wall by having its open end pressed against an outside flat of the body wall while the retaining ring is pressed against an inside flat of the body wall. Both flats are parallel to each other. The pin projects perpendicular to a plane which passes through a longitudinal edge of the open end. Excess play between the extremity and the body wall is eliminated by forcibly shifting the pin perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the extremity.

  • Patent number: 4914930
Abstract: A jeweled mesh having a plurality of stones mounted in hexagonal settings. The settings are linked together by a connector bridging diverging corners of three immediately adjacent settings. The settings have projections which extend through an opening in the connector so as to fit against an inner surface of the connector defining the opening. Retaining rings keep the connector in position.
