  • Patent number: 6425410
Abstract: An inline high pressure fluid release valve is formed by a valve body having a transverse opening forming a fluid passageway interposed in a fluid conductor. A vertically moveable plunger in the valve body includes a disc normally closing the fluid passageway. A pin cage assembly includes a collapsible pin axially connected with a vertically movable valve stem on the plunger is responsive to excess fluid pressure unbalancing a valve stem and collapsing the pin and impact moving the plunger to a fluid passageway open position.

  • Patent number: 6402626
Abstract: A rodeo rider training apparatus is formed by a retractable wheel horizontal base frame supporting a spin wheel, a motor spin wheel driving apparatus and a spin shaft supporting a bucking apparatus in turn supporting a rider support for simulating a bucking action of a horse or bull while the spin wheel rotates the bucking apparatus in a selected direction. A divided circular pad horizontally surrounds the vertical axis of the bucking apparatus and rider support and spins therewith within a central portion of a surrounding air mattress providing padding, with the circular pad, for receiving a rider falling from the rider support thus allowing the falling rider to spin with the device until he can exit the spin pad to the air mattress, out of the way of the bucking apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6296052
Abstract: An axial assembly of pistons is axially disposed in the depending end of tubing in a gas well and packer set above the formation. Gas and fluid from the production zone enters the casing through an orifice below the piston assembly. Fluid in the annulus between the tubing and the casing creates a static head of back pressure against the orifice resulting in decreasing the gas pressure at the well head or flow line, which is sensed by pressure sensors to energize a compressor generating gas under pressure forced down the tubing to move piston rods and close the orifice. The gas pressure lifts the fluid in the annulus to the well head and flow line connected therewith. This cycle is repeated each time gas pressure falls below a predetermined pressure at the well head or flow line.

  • Patent number: 6276389
Abstract: A toxic material pressure relief valve is formed by a valve body having a lateral bore and an inline bore forming a fluid passageway intersected by a valve seat in axial alignment with the lateral bore. A bonnet closes the lateral bore and slidably supports a stop in a fluid leak collection chamber and one end of a valve, with the other end of the valve stem normally closing the valve seat. A pin cage axially supports a collapsible pin normally maintaining the valve stem on seat while the working pressure of the toxic material is within predetermined limits.

  • Patent number: 6209233
Abstract: A ditch cleaning apparatus is formed by a prime mover driving a chassis having endless metal belts for moving along the bottom of a vertical wall ditch and supporting an upright frame having a rearwardly and upwardly inclined elevator depositing debris on a first horizontal conveyor discharging debris laterally of a ditch position. A second horizontal conveyor, supported by the frame above the chassis, receives loose soil from the elevating conveyor for deposit on the ditch bottom rearwardly of the chassis. Sweep wings extend forwardly in diverging relation from the depending forward end of the elevating conveyor to guide debris toward the entrance end of the elevating conveyor. An operator position in the frame, above the upper limit of a ditch to be cleaned, is provided with controls for moving the machine and its several operating components in a ditch cleaning action.

  • Patent number: 6206347
Abstract: A juvenile security fence system enclosing an area is formed by a plurality of line, terminal end and corner posts with each post being characterized by a vertical base section having its depending end portion embedded in the earth and having a portion of its upper end angularly inclined inwardly and upwardly terminating in a vertical upright relatively short section. Wire fencing of selected mesh is attached to the surface of the post facing the area to be enclosed by a plurality of post surrounding bands securing an adjacent portion of the wire mesh to the respective post and spaced longitudinally of the post. Terminal end and corner posts secure respective end portions of the wire fabric by similar post surrounding tension bands secured by bolts precluded from contact by an inmate by steel plates coextensive with the respective post and bridging the space between the post and the terminal end portion of the respective fence fabric.

  • Patent number: 6189563
Abstract: A pilot operated pressure relief valve is formed by a valve body having an inlet and outlet port forming a passageway therebetween. A centrally bored valve is slideably supported by the body for movement toward and away from the valve inlet. The valve body is provided with an axial extension projecting opposite the inlet port forming a pressure chamber receiving upstream fluid pressure through the valve which is sensed by a sensor and normally transfers fluid pressure through a pilot operated, normally closed three-way two-position valve, to the end of the valve opposite the seat to maintain pressure differential across the valve equalized. Excess pressure above a predetermined value in the pressure chamber shifts the manifold valve to unseat the valve and discharge fluid downstream through the outlet port and apertures and passageway in the valve head.

  • Patent number: 6173660
Abstract: A retrofit kit formed by pairs of telescoping legs and a tool anchoring platform for a collapsible leg structure for a metal bench including a T-shaped brace rod having one end of its stem pivotally connected to the underside of the bench and its other end extending between and lockingly engaged with the depending end portion of a pair of the legs. A strut, pivotally connected with the stem of the brace rod, is slidably engaged with a track bracket secured to the undersurface of the bench to limit downward movement of the brace rod with respect to the bench. Links connecting the legs to the strut collapse the legs to a folded position under the bench when the brace rod is manually released from the legs and moved toward the undersurface of the bench.
