  • Patent number: 6784555
Abstract: Die attach adhesives and methods for their use, along with the devices that are obtained by the use of the methods. Using semiconductor chips as an example, the adhesives and the method for using them provides an interface between a chip (die) and the chip support. The method includes creating a space between the chip and the chip support of a given sized opening by using inorganic insulator particles having an average particle size of 1 &mgr;m to 1000 &mgr;m and a major axis to minor axis ratio of about 1.0 to 1.5.

  • Patent number: 6502501
Abstract: An apparatus for cooking poultry consists of a shallow pan, and a lid which covers the pan and which is provided with a centrally located opening. The lid supports an upwardly extending, hollow, perforated poultry-supporting tower on its upper surface. The detachable tower is mounted over the centrally located opening such that steam generated within the pan during cooking rises up into the tower, escapes through the perforations thereby infusing the poultry. The lid is also provided with at least one drain hole so that the drippings from the cooking poultry can be trapped within the pan, and re-infused into the poultry. The tower is detachable from the lid, and is interchangeable with alternative towers of differing lengths and circumferences to accommodate various sizes of poultry.

  • Patent number: 5391675
Abstract: A process for the preparation of amino-substituted organopolysiloxanes which comprises the steps of mixing a catalyst comprising both (i) at least one compound selected from barium hydroxide and strontium hydroxide and (ii) at least one compound selected from borates and phosphates of sodium with (A) a silanol terminated organopolysiloxane compound and (B) an organosilicon compound having at least one silicon-bonded alkoxy or alkoxyalkoxy group and a monovalent substituent composed of carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen and having at least one --NH.sub.2 therein attached to silicon by way of a silicon to carbon linkage and thereafter allowing (A) and (B) to react at a temperature of at least 50.degree. • Patent number: 5383238
Abstract: This invention deals with a motorized device which allows independent movement into and out of a pool of water, which device may or may not be under the control of the invalid or handicapped person. The device comprises a motorized pair of arms which carry a bar, which bar has mounted on it, a carrier for a person. The device, in spite of a high movement of the bar overhead, allows for the transportation of the person through essentially a horizontal plane.
