  • Patent number: 6739322
Abstract: A paintball feed system (10) comprises flexible detent beams (32a,b) that flex about first and second support points (33,34) such that they allow a paintball (22a) to pass from a hopper (18) into a feed tube (12) leading to a paintball marker's breech (16) under it's own weight when flexing about the first support point (33). The beams (32a,b) are rigid enough, when flexing about the second support pint (34), to prevent the return of the paintball (22a) back into the hopper (18) from the feed tube (12).

  • Patent number: 6729497
Abstract: A paintball container comprises a body 12 and a lid 14. The lid 14 is hinged to the body 12 at one side, and has a tab 42 at the other side to facilitate opening of the container. The body 12 has a guard 26 formed on it adjacent to the tab 42 on the lid. The guard is substantially U-shaped and bounds a recess 30 into which a user can insert their thumb to pull up the tab 42 to release the lid. The guard 26 prevents accidental opening of the lid, for example when the container is being removed from a harness in which it is being carried.

The baby bottle liner includes a continuous, profiled, elongated reclosable fastener. The continuous, profiled, elongated reclosable fastener has a first continuous elongated profile strip and a second continuous elongated profile strip. The first continuous elongated profile strip and the second continuous elongated profile strip are dimensioned to provide an airtight and/or watertight seal upon interconnection thereof. The baby bottle liner further comprises an airtight and watertight side seal at each end of the reclosable fastener. Each side seal connects an end of the reclosable fastener to an inside surface of a front wall and an inside surface of a back wall of the liner. The invention also provides a baby bottle with a baby bottle liner and a kit for infant nursing that has a plurality of baby bottle liners.

  • Patent number: 5063984
Abstract: A solar heating device which indicates the proper window covering status for maximum energy conservation. A support structure (18) rests on window sill (16) and suspends two thermistors (22 and 24). One thermistor (22) is supported on the room side of drapery (12) and the other thermistor (24) is supported between drapery (12) and a window (14). When the net heat flow is inward from outside the room, thermistor (24) near window (14) will be warmer than room side thermistor (22). When this occurs, the temperature dependent resistances of thermistors (22 and 24), voltage divider resistances (30 and 32), and a comparator (36) turn on a light emitting diode (28). This indicates that drapery (12) should be opened to let solar radiation in to heat the room. Otherwise, drapery (12) should be closed to conserve the existing heat in the room.

  • Patent number: 5057088
Abstract: An improved needle guard for a syringe is provided having a tubular body. The needle guard includes a longitudinal bore and one or more slots or slits formed therein. The longitudinal bore of the guard is sized for telescopic reception of and contraction about the tubular body of the syringe. Slots or slits are arranged so as to allow deformation of the longitudinal bore of the needle guard thereby increasing the inside diameter of the longitudinal bore so as to allow axial movement of the needle guard along the tubular body of the syringe.

  • Patent number: 5040485
Abstract: A simplified automatic car wash system is disclosed which comprises a linear trolley suspended from the upper structure of a car wash building and a cross trolley transversely mounted thereto. A spray arm is rotatably mounted to a glider plate on the cross trolley and the spray arm is used to deliver soap and water to an automobile. The spray arm is the only cleaning apparatus utilized, there being no need for rotating brushes and the like. As such, the only elements which come and in contact with the automobile during a car wash, are soap and water.

  • Patent number: 4999200
Abstract: A psyllium composition in tablet form is provided having a wetting agent, a disintegrant and a binding agent. In one embodiment, the wetting agent is polysorbate 80, the binding agent is polyvinyl pyrrolidone and the dry binding agent and disintegrant is microcrystalline cellulose. Calcium carbonate may also be added to serve as a disintegrant in HCL. The tablets are manufactured by mixing the psyllium powder with a solution of povidone and polysorbate 80. Microcrystalline cellulose may be added either during or after granulation. After mixing, the composition is compressed into tablet form. The mixing of the ingredients in specific quantities allows a tablet to be manufactured that is both resistant to fracture and at the same time disintegrates easily and quickly in the gastrointestinal tract of the patient.
