  • Patent number: 8241734
Abstract: This invention comprises a self-supporting, temperature-stable, indicia-bearing laminate of at least one layer of a non-oriented polyolefin film having an indicia array and a layer of a non-oriented polyolefin support film. The indicia layer laminate is formed by printing a carrier sheet with at least one layer of a printing ink comprising a mixture of particulate polyolefin, indicia material and a polyolefin-compatible resin. The polyolefin support film is printed as a layer over the indicia layer with a mixture of a polyolefin and a polyolefin-compatible resin. The printed layers are cured into non-oriented films, forming an indicia transfer. The transfer is used by removing the indicia-bearing laminate from the carrier sheet and applying the laminate to the inside surface of a rotational mold where it melts and fuses into the outer wall of a polyolefin product during the formation of the product in the rotational molding cycle.

  • Patent number: 6263572
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a turnbuckle mechanism in which a central link is provided with internal right and left hand compatible threads and which receives, at its opposite ends, one of a pair of longitudinally split, externally threaded shafts which are threaded in opposite directions. The split shaft members are manufactured from oppositely threaded cylindrical shafts which are machined along their threaded sections to split each cylindrical shaft into two symmetrical, longitudinally split shaft members, which are then paired with oppositely threaded split shaft members and secured together with the central link, preferably with a separation band of plastic or corrosion resistant metal between their opposing flat surfaces. The shaft members are also provided with distal clamps such as hooks, loops or full threads for attachment of cables, rods or similar members.

  • Patent number: 6076707
Abstract: The combination of a storage and dispensing rack and a beverage container which has a general parallelpiped shape with at least two channels traversing its opposite major walls at intermediate locations along the length of the walls. The storage and dispensing rack comprises a support base formed of a pair of longitudinal and parallel rails spaced apart approximately equal to the width of the bottle with two H-shaped cradles each having distal stiles separated by a cross rail and removably engaged to the longitudinal rails of the base to coincide with the channels in the major walls of the container whereby the container can be placed and interlocked into the rack.

  • Patent number: 5069375
Abstract: There is disclosed a food support tray that is intended to be secured while resting on the lap of an occupant of a motor vehicle. The tray has a fastener which detachably secures it on the lap of the occupant. Preferably, the fastener is a clip which secures the tray to the seat belt of the vehicle when the seat belt is fastened about the occupant. The tray is generally planar with longitudinal forward and rear edges and opposite and shorter end edges. The rear edge is arcuately bowed inwardly, contouring to the waist of the occupant. The forward edge can also be bowed inwardly at a central location to provide clearance for the steering wheel, thus permitting its use by the driver of a vehicle. The tray has vertically walled recesses on its upper surface, preferably at least one is provided for reception of a beverage cup.
