Abstract: An improved apparatus for protecting a vehicle's cargo area having a load locking system. The load locking system includes slots for receiving a cross member in the liner. Divider rods may be connected to cross members to further lock a load in place in the liner. The liner may include removable front and rear liner walls and the front and rear liner walls may be attachable to the vehicle. A drip ledge may be provided on the front and/or rear liner walls to direct liquid splashed thereon into the liner.
Abstract: A combination boat/camper shell/pop-up tent apparatus which is mounted to a pickup's bed sidewalls. The apparatus includes an upper and a lower frame. The lower frame is shaped generally to conform with the pickup bed walls, and includes left and right lower side rails, and a lower front rail. The lower rails may be removably secured to the pickup sidewalls by clamps or the like. The upper frame also includes left and right upper side rails and an upper front rail. The upper front rail is hingedly connected to the lower front rail so the rear of the upper frame may be lifted. The upper frame is shaped to accept and hold a camper shell, thus, when the camper shell is on the upper frame and the frame is lifted access to the pickup bed is increased. While the upper frame is in the raised position, tent material may be attached to the frame to provide a tent. Supports hingedly connected to both the upper and the lower frame are provided to hold the upper frame in the raised position.
Abstract: A portable base ball batting practice stand including a base having a post connected thereto and extending upwardly therefrom. A generally horizontal extension is connected to the post and extends outwardly therefrom. A ball is suspended by a line from the extension for one to practice batting. The base may have more than one base sections and the base sections may be hingidly attached to each other to allow the base to be folded for transport. The stand may also include a T-ball post which may be removably connected to the base.
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for determining and directing community response to a material release, such as a hazardous gas release. The apparatus includes a map with a rotatable warning indicator attached thereto. The warning indicator has one or more warning areas marked thereon and preferably color coded. The warning indicator also includes at least one wind direction indicator which may be aligned with a heading on the map which corresponds to the actual wind condition. When so aligned the warning areas highlight the geographical area on the map where a community response is suggested and recommends what first response precautions should be taken.
