  • Patent number: 7036255
Abstract: A display sign having a support post with an anchoring device at the bottom end suitable for burying in the ground. A curved cantilevered arm is detachably connected to the support post and outwardly extends in a lateral direction. A curved frame is detachably connected between a distal end of the arm and the upper portion of the support post for holding and integrally securing a sign to the arm and post. An additional sign holder is placed on top of the arm insertably receiving and displaying additional information. The frame is detachably connected between the arm and the support post so that the display sign can be readily changed. The anchoring device includes a flanged arrangement which resists twisting of the post and tilting of the post when it is buried in the ground. Illumination means is provided for lighting the sign and a power supply, such as a solar collector, is provided.

  • Patent number: 5310394
Abstract: A spotter system is disclosed herein for assisting a weightlifter to safely exert a maximum effort during a weightlifting procedure. The system includes a frame for removably supporting a weight arrangement comprised of either free or track weights. The frame further supports a pneumatic lift which includes cables secured at one end to the barbell and at their opposite ends to a pulley. Via a chain drive from the pulley, an intermediate wheel is moved which, in turn, pivots a lever arm. The lever arm is attached at one end to a piston and cylinder assembly that offers less resistence to the users exerted effort to raise the barbell. Control of the resistence is effected by body limb activation of positive or negative switches coupled to the piston and cylinder assembly which further includes an air compressor, gages and relief valves.

  • Patent number: 5305922
Abstract: A dispenser is disclosed herein having a paste container removably mounted in a stationary base with a dispensing nozzle for discharging paste therethrough. In one version, the paste container is pressurized by use of a removable air pump while in another version, a mechanical pump extracts paste into and through the nozzle. In either version, a brush-operated lever actuates a mechanism coupled to the nozzle for selectively releasing the pressurized paste.

  • Patent number: 5304358
Abstract: An air freshener device is disclosed herein of multilayer construction which, when laminated or joined together, provides a strong reinforced unitary structure for holding a scented member between two snap-locked layers defining an internally closed cavity that provides a moisture barrier for at least a message or picture card forming a part of the unitary structure. The device includes a pair of thin members having preformed islands, receptacles and pins which, when aligned, may be snap-locked together. A scented member is held in the central cavity defined between the snap-locked members and a plurality of passageways interconnects the central cavity with peripheral vents to release the fragrance exteriorly of the device. Message, photographic or graphic representations are carried on display cards secured to the opposite sides of the snap-locked members which are isolated from the moisture of the scent carried on the scent carrier.

  • Patent number: 5213619
Abstract: An environmentally safe process for pre-cleaning, sterilizing, preserving, and enhancing performance characteristics of materials used in critical environments with stringent end-product cleanliness and sterilization requirements in a single process using high energy dense fluids. One or more dense fluids are mixed with one or more chemical agents and are simultaneously subjected to a non-uniform electrostatic field and high powered acoustic radiation to remove, in a process called acoustic-electroextraction, deeply recessed contaminants from internal and external surfaces of intricately arranged or formulated materials such as biomaterials, surgical tools, or dental implants. Subsequently, the cleaned materials are than subjected to a high energy dense fluid oxidizing environment to provide for deep material penetration and sterilization and removal of biological contaminants.
