Abstract: A display device has two interlocked contrasting elements. A first element is of a first color, and has a top surface configured to resemble desired indicia, e.g. one or more letters or numerals. The first element also has a bottom surface which includes a plurality of first locking members. A second element has a plurality of second locking members which interlock with the first locking members, and is of a second color. The second color preferably contrasts with the first color. The interlocking action of the first locking members with the second locking members serves to interlock the two contrasting elements, thereby providing a good mechanical locking action therebetween. In a first embodiment, the first and second elements together form a generally flat top surface, while in a second embodiment, the two elements are of different top levels, so that the indicia may be either raised or recessed with respect to the background.

Abstract: The invention is directed to disposable dispensing apparatus having a generally triangular body, for dispensing a material therefrom. A stop is disposed within the body, and has a variable thickness. The stop is positioned so that a user of the apparatus may squeeze opposing sides of the body at varying points to dispense varying amounts of the material. Preferably, indicia, such as frets, are disposed on the exterior of the body, to advise the user of the amount of material dispensed by squeezing the body at varying points along the stop. In a preferred embodiment, the body includes a one-way valve for permitting the influx of ambient air into the body after the dispensing of material therefrom, thereby maintaining the volume within the body at a relatively constant level. In a second preferred embodiment, the apparatus further includes a removable nozzle for locating a precise location into which the material is deposited upon exiting the apparatus.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for the diagnosis of a malady in a subject by observing a degree of reaction between all blood cells: red blood cells, leukocytes and platelets; in the subject's blood with a foreign entity having a predetermined relationship with the malady being diagnosed. The test includes comparing amounts and sizes of red blood cells, leukocytes and/or platelets in a control sample and at least one test sample. The test sample includes a portion of the subject's blood and the foreign entity being tested.
