    Abstract: The present invention provides a closure for a container, preferably a plastic aerosol container on which there is provided a specially designed neck. A metal cup having vent slots is fittable on the container top and neck. The cup has formed at its periphery an inwardly curled tuck and a rounded top portion which fits over a rounded annular shoulder on the neck. The radius of the rounded annular shoulder of the neck is larger than the radius of the rounded top portion of the cup. The neck further includes a tuck support member having a horizontal ledge. A tuck pocket is formed between the annular shoulder and the tuck support member to accomodate the tuck in the cup. Sealing of the cup to the container occurs at the annular shoulder of the neck by pressure of a pressure ring in concert with a pilot of a closure die on the cup top portion.

    Abstract: The invention provides a tool for removing a lance or indentation in the retainer of the planetary of an automatic transmission and for forming a lance in the retainer after replacement of friction or steel plates. The tool includes a circular base having a raised curved exterior section and a raised curved interior section spaced apart by a gap. The interior section has an indentation in the outer wall. A first insert fits within the gap having a curved front wall facing the interior section and also having the same curvature thereof. A second insert is fittable within the gap having a protrusion capable of registering with the indentation. Means for exerting inward compression between the first and second inserts against the interior section are provided to remove a lance, in the case of the first insert, or to form a lance in the case of the second insert.

A means for storing and introducing a metered supply of ink to the cartridge during operation of the apparatus is provided including a bag container, conduit means for conducting the ink to the cartridge and means for penetrating the ink absorbing material such as a needle mounted at the terminus of the conduit means.

The gage includes an elongate body having an arcuate face portion with a plurality of numbers in sequence thereon indicating a value of the diameter of the workpiece. A plurality of horizontal indicator lines extend above and below the centerline, each line indicating a value corresponding to a distance above or below the center height of the workpiece. An indicator consisting of an indicator arm positioned along the centerline and a pair of feeler arms is pivotably mounted on the body. The gage is slidably inserted in the recess of a cut-off tool holder and moved alongside a workpiece. The indicator arm will then move upwardly or downwardly.

    Abstract: This invention is concerned with a locking device for a drum which seals and locks the bung hole and vent hole of 35 or 55 gallon drums to prevent unauthorized access thereto. The device includes two swivel locks, each consisting of a lock cap containing an externally threaded base and a swivel and a lock bar.After the swivel locks are threaded into the bung hole and vent hole, the swivels are rotated until their holes align. A lock bar having a flanged end of greater width than the hole of the swivel and a hole at its other end is passed through the holes. The shackle of a padlock or other locking device is then passed through the lock bar hole and locked. Means for rotatably retaining the swivel in the lock cap are also provided.

    Abstract: A device for plowing snow is provided by the present invention. The device consists of a sheet material such as a board made of hard but resilient material having a tapered bottom edge and rounded bottom corners. A plurality of slots are located in the top portion of the sheet material and at least one slot is located at each side of the sheet member for grasping the device by hand. Hand grips are located in the top edges and bottom edges of the sheet member adjacent the slots to facilitate grasping and to prevent chafing of the edges of the device against the hands. The tapered bottom edge can be an integral part of the sheet member or an attachment press-fitted on the bottom edge of the device. Optionally a carrying strap may be mounted around the top slots to permit carrying the device to and from its place of storage and during use. A method for plowing snow using the device is also provided wherein the board is held and moved diagonally to the path to be cleared.
