  • Patent number: 4795045
Abstract: The present invention provides a closure for a container, preferably a plastic aerosol container on which there is provided a specially designed neck. A metal cup having vent slots is fittable on the container top and neck. The cup has formed at its periphery an inwardly curled tuck and a rounded top portion which fits over a rounded annular shoulder on the neck. The radius of the rounded annular shoulder of the neck is larger than the radius of the rounded top portion of the cup. The neck further includes a tuck support member having a horizontal ledge. A tuck pocket is formed between the annular shoulder and the tuck support member to accomodate the tuck in the cup. Sealing of the cup to the container occurs at the annular shoulder of the neck by pressure of a pressure ring in concert with a pilot of a closure die on the cup top portion.

  • Patent number: 4628924
Abstract: The device, intended for insertion by means of a tube, comprises a supporting part having two branches attached to the front end in such a way that they spring apart when the device is pushed out of the tube into the uterus. At the end of each branch is a spherical occluding member, and at the rearward end of the supporting part is an eye through which a thread is looped. In order to achieve gentle sealing solely of the mouths of the Fallopian tubes, as well as to reduce production costs, the occluding members are of soft material and are flexibly connected to the associated branches, while the supporting part and the branches are made in one piece of a resilient but comparatively stiff material.

  • Patent number: 4612924
Abstract: A support body to be inserted in the uterus is connected to inflatable occluding members intended and adapted solely to seal the mouths of the Fallopian tubes when inflated. Because there is no pressure contact between the device and the walls of the uterus proper, there is no impediment to the flow of menstrual blood nor any risk of harmful effects caused by pressure. The support body comprises a central piece through which an inflation medium can be introduced into the occluding members, which are disposed at the ends of two branches projecting laterally from the central piece. Thus, the device is easy to position accurately within the uterus. The support body is stiff but resiliently deformable and of stable shape.
