  • Patent number: 6614378
Abstract: A sample-and-hold circuit and an analog-to-digital conversion circuit are provided, and a latch circuit is provided downstream of the analog-to-digital conversion circuit. For example, a correlated double sampling (CDS) circuit is configured in which a first latch circuit is disposed downstream of the analog-to-digital conversion circuit and a second latch circuit is disposed downstream of the first latch circuit. Delayed output signals of the respective latch circuits are sent to a calculation section, which takes subtraction between those output signals. Resulting data is output via another latch circuit.

  • Patent number: 5825071
Abstract: A semiconductor photosensitive element comprises first and second photosensitive regions. The first photosensitive region is different from the second photosensitive region in its structure and thereby the first photosensitive region has photoelectric conversion characteristic and frequency characteristic which are different from those of the second photosensitive region.

  • Patent number: 5810490
Abstract: An ink ribbon cassette housing for a printer according to the present invention is one having a bearing means which houses a ribbon supply spool shaft wound with an ink ribbon unused and a ribbon takeup spool shaft for taking up a used ink ribbon in a state that both of the spool shafts are separated from each other and which rotatably supports drive-side shaft portions provided on one ends of the respective spool shafts and driven-side shaft portions on the other ends thereof. The ink ribbon cassette housing for a printer includes a bearing means for said drive-side shaft portions being formed of a bearing portion which has a bearing aperture formed through a side wall of the cassette housing, and a bearing means for the driven-side shaft portions has a bearing portion divided into a lower bearing plate having a semicircular lower bearing aperture and an upper bearing plate which has a semicircular upper bearing aperture and which is shifted positionally forward or backward from the lower bearing plate.

  • Patent number: 5217833
Abstract: A method of producing a fluorescent screen of a cathode-ray tube inclusive of a process to form carbon stripes by coating an inner surface of a panel with a carbon film and then drying, exposing and developing such a carbon film. The method comprises the steps of perceiving the carbon stripes on the inner surface of the panel as video information by optical means, then inputting the video information to an image processor to calculate the line widths of the carbon stripes, and controlling the exposure during the carbon stripe exposure process on the basis of the line widths thus calculated. According to this method, the line widths of the carbon stripes can be maintained constant to enhance the quality stability, and the measuring operation is remarkably simplified by a completely automated mechanical system.

  • Patent number: 5184536
Abstract: The present invention has for its object to provide a swash plate type piston pump/motor which is simple in construction and small in size and which enables a swash plate to be tilted surely. The swash type piston pump/motor is arranged such that a swash plate receiving surface (1) formed in a housing (1) is inclined by a predetermined angle relative to the axis (2) of a rotating shaft (2) so that even when the angle of tilting of the swash plate is increased the distance from the axis of the rotation shaft to the center (12) of a ball (12) which serves as the center of swing of the swash plate can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 5027000
Abstract: A wave power generating system for generating electricity using natural wave power, includes wave energy converters for converting wave energy into air pressure, a constant air pressure tank for storing the air pressure from the wave energy converters to equalize the fluctuation of the air pressure, an air turbine stationarily driven by the equalized air pressure, and an electric generator for generating stable electricity using the rotating power of the air turbine. The wave energy converters are settled to the bottom of the sea and are sufficiently tall to function as wave dissipation facilities. The air pressure in the constant air pressure tank is automatically controlled toward a target value by a controller and the target value is calculated by the controller in accordance with measured values of wave amplitude and period and the current air pressure of the constant air pressure tank.
