Abstract: A fluid delivery system includes an applicator having gradient foam where the gradient foam includes a fluid and the applicator has an applicator surface area open to the environment such that the fluid is passively dispensed onto a surface independent of gravity through the applicator surface area. The gradient foam may be encompassed by a holder. A fluid reservoir in the applicator holder is used to replenish fluid. A cap covers the gradient foam to prevent the foam drying out. The types of surfaces that the fluid delivery system may be applied to can be hard or soft, such as wood or skin and hence, the fluid delivery system may be used for many applications in the home, health/medicine, beauty, feminine, baby, personal, fabric, pet and food areas.
Abstract: A wet shaving system is disclosed including a blade member and a skin-engaging portion in proximity to said blade member, the skin-engaging portion comprising a solid polymeric shaving aid composite including an exposed portion containing a water-soluble shaving aid dispersed in a water-insoluble polymeric matrix, the water soluble shaving aid being coated with mineral oil.
Abstract: A personal care apparatus includes a handle housing a rechargeable battery and a plurality of operating heads such as a vibrating safety razor head and a hair trimming device exchangeably mountable on the handle for assembling different hand-held appliances for performing respective body treatments. A base is included for storing the components of the apparatus when not in use and forms a battery charging device with a socket into which the handle plugs for recharging the battery. The operating heads include electrical devices, in particular electric motors, powered by the battery.
