    Abstract: This invention provides a device for keeping a stringed musical instrument, such as a guitar, in tune while playing same with the use of a capo. The device comprises a bar of lightweight molded plastic material or the like having a bevel on one side and a hook end at the top. The device is positioned whereby the hook end is over the top portion of a guitar neck and the beveled side is under the strings on a fret. The string clamp portion of a capo is placed over the device after it is positioned. The device in place prevents the strings from stretching which would cause the guitar to get out of tune if the device was not in place.

The magazine entrance guide with widely spaced sides in one embodiment has upwardly extended opposite side stabilizing extensions enclosing opposite sides of the gun butt within opposite side grip plates that counter torsion forces between the guide and the mainspring housing. In another embodiment opposite side stabilizing extensions are positioned within the angled out opening sides of the gun butt magazine opening to counter torsion forces between the guide and the mainspring housing.

    Abstract: A hitch apparatus having a modular configuration for mounting to a vehicle, in order to conveniently hitch a trailer thereto. The modular hitch apparatus has movable structure that is configured for selectively tilting a trailer with respect to the vehicle so as to facilitate loading and unloading equipment, automobiles, materials, etc., onto or off of the trailer. The hitch apparatus includes an elongated chamber-like structure that has an open top and an interior which is in communication with the open top. The chamber-like structure may be configured to be anchored to the frames of a variety of vehicles including conventional pickup trucks, cars, etc. The chamber-like structure is sized and configured in the manner of a conventional pickup truck bumper. The apparatus further includes an engageable member such as a ball hitch movably connected to a structural trailer part (e.g. a trailer hitch socket).

    Abstract: Apparatus and method for obtaining from a well drilled into the subsurface of the earth the information necessary to determine the location of the liquid surface in same. A source of pressure pulses is coupled to the well surface casing in order that the pulses are transmitted downhole where they are reflected by all surfaces present therein such as, the liquid surface, tubing collars and tubing anchors. A transient pressure transducer is provided which generates an electrical output in response to all reflections of the transmitted pulse. All of the reflections occurring in the well are recorded for a sufficient amount of time to ensure the recording of the first reflection from the liquid surface present in the well.
