Abstract: The device according to the present invention comprises a galvanic cell including a gas generating electrode, a counter electrode and an aqueous electrolyte enclosed in a housing. The device has one or more openings, by which the generated gas is released to the environment. The device also contains means for electrically connecting said gas generating electrode and said counter electrode and for establishing a current flow between said gas generating electrode and said counter electrode for generating a predetermined quantity of gas by said gas generating electrode for release from said opening of said galvanic cell. The objective of the cell is to generate and release oxygen or hydrogen gas, thereby defining a new type of cell. The device is referred to as a "gas generator cell.

Abstract: A multi-compartment container is disclosed herein for storing and transporting personal feminine products. The container comprises a plurality of compact multiple sized compartments extending over and under one another. The compartments each have a respective cover member that only reveals the contents of one particular compartment. The container is designed with rounded edges both inside and outside the compartments to protect the contents and the container.

Abstract: A rotation angle detection circuit for a step motor providing an up/down control signal for determining positive and negative rotation of the step motor and a mask control signal for determining rotation angle of 15.degree. and 30.degree.. The circuit can correctly detect the rotation angle of the step motor by counting the pulse signals from the up/down control signal and mask control signal. It is thereby useful for application in a system which electrically measures the rotation of the step motor.

Abstract: This invention relates to a sterilization process for vacuum-packaged raw meat, comprising vacuum-packaging, ultraviolet sterilization and heat shrinkage in sequence.The present invention provides an apparatus comprising an ultraviolet sterilization apparatus and an apparatus for shrinking film packaging material as an embodiment; sterilization effect obtained by means of the apparatus is great and bacteria as well as mold are sterilized. The packaged product does not change color or smell so that it does not lose its value as merchandise. No deterioration about the product could be found.

Abstract: An automotive remotely controlled rearview mirror assembly is remotely controlled from within an automobile for adjusting the angle of the reflecting surface of the rearview mirror to obtain a desired rear sight. The remotely controlled rearview mirror assembly comprises a housing adapted to be mounted on the automobile body by a mount, a mirror swingably supported in the housing, a control lever swingably mounted on the mount for remotely controlling the mirror for a desired angle thereof from within the automobile, and a link mechanism operatively interconnecting the mirror and the control lever and angularly movable vertically and laterally in response to swinging movement of the control lever. The link mechanism is angularly movable vertically about an axis which is inclined upwardly in a lateral direction away from a nominal vertical plane, and also angularly movable laterally about an axis which lies in a plane including a line substantially normal to a nominal horizontal plane.
