Abstract: A test handler is disclosed. A posture changing unit for changing a posture of a test tray on which semiconductor devices have been loaded changes the posture of the test tray in a soak chamber. While the posture of the test tray is changed, the devices can be pre-heated/pre-cooled, thereby reducing the soak chamber length and the pre-heating/pre-cooling time.

Abstract: A network scanning method and device are provided that allow an image scanning device to scan documents and transmit the scan data to a server. The image scanning device checks a connection between the image scanning device and a server, generates scan data by scanning documents, stores the generated scan data in a storage unit if a connection error exists between the image scanning device and the server, and checks whether the connection error between the image scanning device and the server is corrected. The image scanning device transmits the scan data stored in the storage unit to the server when the connection error has been corrected. Transmission of scan data is delayed until the connection error to the server is corrected, thereby reducing inconvenience in having to reset network settings after waiting until the connection error to the server has been corrected.
Abstract: A hydraulic unit, in particular for lifting and lowering loads in stacking trucks, has at least one working cylinder (10). The piston/rod unit (12) of the cylinder is guided movably in a housing (22). Abstract: A method of preparing a toner, includes: preparing a core by mixing a polyester resin and a colorant with at least one material selected from the group consisting of a macromonomer having hydrophilic group, hydrophobic group, and at least one reactive functional group and a reactive emulsifying agent. A shell is formed on the core by polymerizing the exterior surface of the core with one or more polymerizable monomers and an initiator, wherein at least one material selected from the group consisting of the macromonomer and the reactive emulsifying agent participate in the polymerization reaction. Abstract: An apparatus for storing and dispensing a test strip includes a container configured to store a stack of test strips. The container maintains appropriate environmental conditions, such as humidity, for storing the test strips. An engaging member is disposed in the container and is adapted to contact one test strip of the stack of test strips. An actuator actuates the engaging member to dispense the one test strip from the container. Since one test strip is dispensed at a time, the remaining test strips are not handled by the user. Abstract: An optical pickup device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a light source for projecting a beam of light to record and reproduce information with respect to an optical recording medium. A collimating lens is disposed on a path of the light to converge and convert the light into a parallel beam. An object lens condenses the parallel beam from the collimating lens and projects the parallel beam onto the optical recording medium. An optical element is disposed between the collimating lens and the object lens. A first actuator moves the collimating lens along the optical axis to thereby control a distance between the collimating lens and the optical element. A first controller drives the first actuator to find a position for the collimating lens, for reducing aberration generated in the light being projected to the optical recording medium. Accordingly, the aberration can be effectively prevented, thereby improving recording and reproducing performance of the optical pickup device.
