Abstract: A nautical navigation aid comprising a photoluminescent element and a light wave re-directing means for improved photoluminescent qualities used to enhance the safety of nautical travelers on waterways in conditions where visibility is limited. The navigation aid sign has a first rigid sheet member having an upper surface, a lower surface and a peripheral edge, a second rigid sheet member having an upper surface and a lower surface extending outward from the peripheral edge of the first rigid sheet member at a predetermined angle to a predetermined length, thereby defining an angled collar of the first rigid sheet member sized and configured to redirect light waves emanating from a light source, and a luminescent layer. It is envisioned that an embodiment of the present invention might also include a means for retrofitting existing nautical navigation aids with a photoluminescent element and a light wave re-directing means for improved photoluminescent qualities.

Abstract: A kit for promoting hair growth on areas of the scalp that has been affected by fungal infections. The kit reduces the loss of hair, gradually destroys the cause of the loss of hair, and eventually restores the normal hair growth in the areas of the scalp affected by the fungi. The kit is comprised of a first powdered mixture and three liquid compositions. The elements of the kit are applied to the scalp of an individual experiencing hair loss due to fungi.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bar seal for a shipping container that indicates if the bar seal has been tampered with during the shipment of goods. The bar seal uses the following mechanisms to indicate tampering: a unique marking mechanism, a reusable locking mechanism, and a temporary sealing mechanism for sealing a shipping container.

Abstract: A device that treats chemically damaged hair by stimulating the circulation of blood and nutrients to the scalp while simultaneously promoting an environment that is not favorable for the propagation of bacteria. The device is composed of a blower that is attached to an air chiller. The blower houses a blue LED that irradiates a blue light outward from the mouth of blower. The device simultaneously blows cold air out of the mouth of the blower and irradiates the hair and scalp of the person being treated.

Abstract: An acoustic drum set amplifier specifically calibrated for each instrument within a drum set, specifically a snare drum, a bass drum, a bongo drum, tom-tom drum, a hi-hat, ride cymbal and crash cymbals, for optimizing the sound frequency of the instrument. In operation, an artist using the device might be able to filter, blend, and manipulate an electro-acoustic signal associated with an acoustic drum instrument, either captured by a microphone or generated by an electronic drum module to the artist's preferences while monitoring the sound directed towards an audience at a live performance.

Abstract: An orthotic device that minimizes weight bearing on certain areas of a shoe being worn by a diabetic suffering from a diabetic foot ulcer, the device allows patients to live active lifestyles while being treated for diabetic foot ulcerations. The orthotic device purposely establishes three points of contact between the device and a shoe. The present device is used in conjunction with a shoe having a sole that defines a cutaway wherein an ulcerous foot wound would lie. The orthotic device comprises a shoe cartridge, the shoe cartridge has a first, second and third section, each section has a left and a right side, at least five L-shaped docks attached to the shoe cartridge, a support attached to the shoe cartridge, and at least five securing means, each securing means is attached to each L-shaped dock.

Abstract: A hydroelectric generator that provides a clean source of energy. The hydroelectric generator uses pressurized air as a driving force. The hydroelectric generator comprises of a pipe like housing structure that is anchored to a seabed, the structure is anchored so that water enters through the end of the structure adjacent to the seabed. The structure houses at least one impeller mounted on a shaft and the shaft is operatively connected to an electrical generator. The end of the pipe adjacent to the seabed further comprises of an air injection system., the air injection system has a plurality of openings that release pressurized air within the structure. At least one air compressor connected to at least one air tank. Each air tank is connected, to the air injection system. The air compressor, the air tanks, and the air injection system are all connected by air lines.

Abstract: An air conditioning drain device essentially comprising a tubular pipe assembly, a flapper assembly, and a service port assembly. The device automatically engages a flapper valve that prevents the reverse flow of condensate water from entering a dwelling unit that shares a common drain line with multiple units, while at the same time allowing for quick and easy flushing of blockages in the drain line without causing water damage to the interior of the dwelling unit.

Abstract: A reusable safety apparatus for reducing the forward velocity of an occupant of a vehicle involved in a collision or another event that imparts forward velocity to the occupant of a vehicle comprising essentially of a casing member, a piston member substantially housed in the casing member, a piston resistance mechanism, and a piston release mechanism; the apparatus is fixedly attached in between a seatbelt anchor of a vehicle and the webbing material of a seatbelt.

Abstract: A method that allows manufactures of medicaments to provide vendors with vendor's uniquely branded OTC medicaments for resale, the method comprising the steps of providing a manufacture's website, allowing vendor's to access the website, then having vendors choose a medicament from the website, then allowing vendors to review an FDA approved description of the medicament, then having the vendor choose a certain template for the labeling of the medicament and allowing vendor to fill certain fields so that vendor's contact information and branding can be incorporated within the template, then having the vendor preview the labeling created by the website and providing vendor with an option to order a certain quantity of medicament or to go back to the previous screen of website, then if an order was made in the previous step, providing the vendor with a secured page for paying, then delivering the medicaments to the vendor.

Abstract: A security and tracking system to prevent the unauthorized use or access to machinery having hydraulic components whereby the system has a rerouting device housed in a tamperproof casing. The rerouting device might have a selective re-directional valve that can be remotely activated and monitored using wireless signal technology to direct hydraulic fluid to at least two hydraulic circuits, a control center that communicates via wireless signal technology to the rerouting device, a first hydraulic circuit that has a source of fluid, a fluid pumping means, the rerouting device, and a power take off device (PTO) and a second hydraulic circuit that has the source of fluid, the fluid pumping means, and the rerouting device. In operation the rerouting device selectively routs hydraulic fluid about the hydraulic circuit that includes the PTO, thereby rendering the hydraulic equipment functionally operable until the hydraulic fluid is rerouted to the second hydraulic circuit.

Abstract: A clip, the clip attaches to a standard golf tee. The clip provides alignment to the target, the clip reduces the resistance normally created by a tee when a ball is hit off of a standard golf tee. The clip normally snaps off the cup of a standard golf tee when a golf ball is hit. By allowing the clip to snap off the cup of a standard golf tee, resistance is reduced.
