  • Patent number: 7517031
Abstract: A body for a refrigerator device, includes a front side that is open towards the interior of the body, whereby the opening on the front side is defined by vertical edge strips and horizontal front strips. At least one edge strip, together with a side wall, is a component of a side part formed from a slab of flat material. The side part has a clamp-type joint element that is joined to the front strip. The front strip, which is inserted into the joint element, exerts a force upon the edge strip, working towards an expansion of the angle at which the edge strip is connected to the side wall thereof.

  • Patent number: 7503193
Abstract: A button comprising a core including a face defining at least one slot and a shaft extending outwardly from the face. The core is preferably made from a rigid material. An outer portion is connected to the core and at least partially surrounds the face. The outer portion is preferably made from a flexible resilient material. A relatively flat cap includes a base with a front side and a back side disposed opposite one another. A foil is connected to the front side and at least one rib projects outwardly from the back side. The rib extends into the slot to connect the cap to the core. The face can define three slots and the cap can include three ribs projecting outwardly from the back side. Each rib extends into a corresponding slot to connect the cap to the core.

  • Patent number: 7480959
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner comprising a housing (1), in which a dust compartment (5), which can be closed by a dust compartment cover and is designed to receive a dust interceptor (6), and a fan compartment (7) for receiving a motor-driven fan unit (8) are configured. The vacuum cleaner also comprises a receiving compartment (16) for attachments (17), which extends below the dust compartment (5) and/or the fan compartment (7) and can be accessed by means of an opening (18) in the housing (1). The aim of the invention is to permit users to remove attachments (17) easily from the receiving compartment (16) that is located below the dust compartment (5) and the fan compartment (7). To achieve this, the opening(s) (18) is/are provided in a lateral wall (19) of the housing (1). This permits attachments (17) to be removed, without bringing the vacuum cleaner out of its normal operating position.

  • Patent number: 7481005
Abstract: Examples of dehumidifying processes for clothes include spinning, extracting the moisture by pressure, or drying the clothes using heat and air. To dehumidify the clothes gently and economically in terms of energy consumption, a method and apparatus for dehumidifying clothes includes bringing the clothes into contact with at least one absorption body of an absorbent material. Advantageously, a rotating absorbent body is used, its sections being continuously alternately brought into contact with an item of clothing and dehumidified by pressing.

  • Patent number: 7472454
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner comprising a housing containing a housing part for receiving components of electrical appliances, and a dust compartment which can be closed by a dust compartment cover that is mounted in such a way that it can pivot between a position wherein the dust compartment is closed and a position wherein the dust compartment is opened. Said cover is provided with a socket for the electrical supply of additional appliances, said socket being connected to an electrical line leading out of the housing part. The aim of the invention is to ensure the operating safety of the inventive vacuum cleaner over a very long period of time. To this end, the housing is provided with a compartment for automatically inserting a section of the electrical line during the pivoting of the dust compartment cover from the opening position to the closing position.

  • Patent number: 7473071
Abstract: A device for application in a fan configuration is configured, in particular, to be directly driven by an electric motor. In the fan configuration, a centrifugal fan wheel is mounted to rotate in unison with a drive shaft. The centrifugal fan wheel, for producing a directed airflow, is surrounded by a fan housing. A seal is disposed in an admission orifice, for largely filling in an air gap between the centrifugal fan wheel and the inner surface of the fan housing. Such a configuration improves the housing and sealing thereof for an application in a vacuum cleaner by having the sealing device be embodied as a sealing ring linked to a buffer part out of the fan housing, which part tightly surrounds the admission orifice.
