Abstract: A dental filing tool includes a handle and a filing strip, wherein the handle includes first and second handle parts, each having a bridge and corresponding first and second arms extending therefrom, the handle parts connectable by a plurality of snap fittings and forming finger pads at either end when snapped together. Male snap fittings may include one or more cross-slots extending at least part of the length of the male snap fitting. A filing strip includes abrasive material on one or both faces, or a sharp-edged perforation pattern, and one or more serrated edges. The interior surfaces of the handle may be beveled to improve comfort and better fit between teeth. The bridge portion of the handle parts can include a raised portion and indicia formed into or printed on the raised portion.
Abstract: A Japanese knotweed injector system for injecting a dose of weed-killing fluid into the stem of a Japanese knotweed, including a fluid dispenser system with a fluid passage, a collared needle with a fluid delivery aperture in communication with the fluid dispenser system, and an actuator connected to the fluid dispenser system for actuating the transmission of fluid from the fluid dispenser system to the fluid delivery aperture.
Abstract: This invention, called Serve Assist, is an electro-mechanical ball machine for practicing the tennis serve. It helps a tennis student to practice serves by consistently dropping the ball in the desired location. It operates in one of two modes, an Auto-feed mode in which it drops the balls in the magazine via an overhead ball release canister at regular intervals or in an Auto-sense mode where the ball is released by the detection of the student's rising tossing arm. The invention also marks the desired height of contact on the dropping ball with a laser and provides visual feedback if the ball is being struck lower than optimum. It aids the student by developing a kinetic and visual memory of the correct ball toss position and point of contact.
Abstract: An improved rock picker system includes a prime mover, with an operator's cab and towing apparatus; windrows detachably and foldingly mounted to the prime mover front; a collector; a separator; a transfer apparatus; a dump trailer detachably connectable to the prime mover towing apparatus; an hydraulic power supply in fluid communication with the hydraulic loads; and, controls for controlling the hydraulic power supply and hydraulic loads individually. Controls include a plurality of remotely operated hydraulic control valves corresponding to the hydraulic loads and a control panel in electrical communication with the remotely operated hydraulic control valves, and speed controllers for controlling the speed of the hydraulic loads.
Abstract: A specimen sample collection device includes a handle having a sufficiency indicator and an absorbent pad partially contained within said handle. A specimen sample collection device and test system includes a handle having a sufficiency indicator, an absorbent pad partially contained within said handle, a pad compression tube insertable over said absorbent pad within said handle and around an end of said handle, and a collection tube having one or more sample chambers, attachable to said pad compression tube, and wherein said compression tube defines one or more chambers, and wherein when said collection tube is attached to said pad compression tube, the chambers are in fluid communication with said pad compression tube. A specimen sample collection device including a sufficiency indicator made up of a light pipe indicator window. A specimen sample collection device including an absorbent pad split and divided into two lengths connected at a base.

Abstract: A master testing control system includes at least one remote computer with one or more communications lines for communicating over a communications network and a plurality of remote sensors, a two way real-time digital video system, a two-way real-time digital audio system. A set of instructions is on each remote computer for sending and receiving data over one or more data lines and for remote display. A set of instructions is on each remote computer for displaying data. At least one local computer is located geographically distant from the remote computer and able to monitor and control the display, storage, and transmission of data acquired by the remote computer. The remote computer collects data from the plurality of sensors and transmits this data to the local computer, under the control of the local computer, for permanent recording.
Abstract: A rotatable snowboard boot binding includes a boot plate with a toe end, a heel end, an aperture, and a cutout, a vertical support connected to the boot plate, a boot binder, an engaging plate, with a top portion with a perimeter edge, a bottom portion, and attachment holes, where the bottom portion includes a perimeter edge with engagement slots and the top portion perimeter edge overhangs the bottom portion perimeter edge, and a latching device fitting moveably within the cutout in the boot plate and engageable with one or more engagement slots in the engaging plate.
Abstract: A water hammer arrestor and drain trap primer valve includes a hollow pipe having a closed end, a discharging end, an inlet, an outlet port connected to said discharging end and attachable to plumbing tubing, an inlet port connected to said inlet and attachable to plumbing tubing, an insert plug within said pipe positioned at said discharging end and at said inlet, said insert plug substantially tubular with opposing flats, and having a longitudinal cylindrical bore and a latitudinal threaded through bore, a port bolt within a portion of said insert plug and a portion of said inlet port, said port bolt substantially tubular and having a longitudinal cylindrical bore and a latitudinal through bore distributor aligned with the insert plug longitudinal cylindrical bore, and a check piston within said pipe and slidingly engageable with said insert plug and said outlet port wherein said check piston engages slidably responsive to water pressure changes at said inlet port.
