Abstract: In one aspect, an improved locking mechanism for a mobile folding table is provided, permitting convenient access near the top of the folded table to a manual actuator for unlocking the table from a folded configuration. In another aspect, an improved lift-assisting mechanism for a mobile folding table is provided, with a clutch that engages the lift-assisting mechanism only when the table top halves are at an angle from the vertical that is equal to or larger than a predetermined angle. These two aspects may be advantageously and synergistically combined in the same mobile folding table.

Abstract: A computer method, apparatus and storage medium is provided for creating quantitative aesthetic graphics from data. The invention utilizes a graph algebra to construct graphs and visually or otherwise represents the graphs as a quantitative aesthetic graphic representation. To create the quantitative aesthetic graphics from data, the data is indexed to form a data set. Thereafter, the data is converted into a variable data structure composed of an index set, a range and a function. The variable data structure is converted into a variable set by using at least one of a blend step, a cross step and a nest step. The variable set is mapped into a set of points and the set of points is mapped into an aesthetic representation.
Abstract: An automated food processing system and method is provided that allows food to be dispensed, fried and packaged in a suitable container, which may be an individual portion-sized container. In one embodiment, the system includes separate automated modules for dispensing, frying and packaging the food. In one embodiment, an automated dispensing device dispenses a predetermined portion of food from a bulk storage container or food dispensing magazine. Food is dispensed from the automated dispensing device to an automated fry device that can include at least one circular fry wheel having a plurality of food containing compartments. After the food is fried it is dispensed from the fry device to an automated packaging device. The automated packaging device dispenses food to a container that may be an individual portion-sized container that is retrieved, erected and held into position for filling by an automated container handling system.

Abstract: A decorative drawer front readily attachable to an existing drawer front face is provided. The drawer front includes a cover panel dimensioned to cover the face of an existing drawer. A mounting rib extends rearwardly from the rear side of the cover panel and has a rearmost portion adapted to attach to the front face of an existing drawer. The mounting rib offsets the cover panel from the drawer front face when the drawer front is attached to the drawer face providing the appearance of a drawer front having substantial material thickness, which drawer front may also be contoured to provide an aesthetically desirable appearance.
Abstract: An ASIC for current, voltage and temperature measurements has signal inputs (RSHH, VBAT, ETS, ETR) for receiving input signals, several choppers, an amplifier, an analog/digital converter and a digital signal output for outputting the result of the measurement and for communicating with a higher-order control unit. The invention proposes that the measuring circuit contain several differential signal inputs (RSHH-RSHL, VBAT-RSHL, ETS-RSHL, ETR-RSHL and VBAT-ETS), wherein one respective chopper/multiplexer is arranged downstream of each signal input.
Abstract: A chamfer hob for and a method of providing a chamfered end and having an identical chamfer angle at both a front face and a back face of a gear including a shaft, a plurality of helical cutting vanes extending radially outwardly from the shaft, such that the radially outward surface of the cutting vanes defines a hob diameter, and a hob radius, a predetermined radial width of the desired chamfer and a depth of chamfer, such that the chamfering is done on both faces of the gear teeth ends resulting in a uniform chamfer around the periphery of the complete gear tooth.
Abstract: A method and computer system is provided for automatically constructing a time series model for the time series to be forecasted. The constructed model can be either a univariate ARIMA model or a multivariate ARIMA model, depending upon whether predictors, interventions or events are inputted in the system along with the series to be forecasted. The method of constructing a univariate ARIMA model comprises the steps of imputing missing values of the time series inputted; finding the proper transformation for positive time series; determining differencing orders; determining non-seasonal AR and MA orders by pattern detection; building an initial model; estimating and modifying the model iteratively.
