Abstract: An action character figure comprises a character figure body including a torso portion having a window therein and a sparking mechanism in the torso portion. The sparking mechanism is operable for producing sparks which are visible through the window by pivoting an arm on the torso portion forwardly and downwardly from an upwardly extending first position to a downwardly extending second position.
Abstract: An apparatus for flattening and, if desired, rolling of portioned dough pieces has a head machine that delivers dough pieces to conveyor belts by which the dough pieces are conveyed to a first endless running belt. This belt constitutes the support for a flattening station that flattens the dough pieces. By this first endless running belt the dough pieces are conveyed to a further endless running belt disposed below the first band said second band conveying the dough pieces back again towards the head machine. Thereby the overall length of the apparatus is shortened. The two belts constitute a further processing station for the dough pieces. If the two belts run with the same speed, the dough pieces are further flattened or, if the two belts show different speeds, the dough pieces are rolled.
Abstract: The calibration of time-depending measurement uncertainties of gyros and inertial systems by the differences of angular and/or velocity and/or positional measurements which are carried out and repetitiously executed with a view to undetermined reference directions and/or fixed locations varying with time. The differentiation allows to forego precise reference data. Measurement uncertainties can be corrected through calibration subsequently to the measurement process. For the measurement of spatial angles a three-axis gyro measurement package comprising a computer and the possibility of feeding or automaticly reading-in of reference data characterizing the reference directions. The reference data can be a number, a marker of the measurement point or in the case of positional measurements a terrestrial aiming point. When measuring angular characteristics, i.e. the interdependence of angles and external forces or moments, the latter are considered as references.

Abstract: A method of inlaying metal in non-conductive materials utilizes conventional electroforming or electroplating techniques to build up metal in grooves or channels formed in the surface of the material. An adhesive is deposited in the grooves, and a cathode is positioned in the adhesive. A metallic base is applied onto or into the adhesive in electrical communication with the cathode, and then the material is immersed in an electrolytic solution wherein metal is built up in the grooves by electrolysis using the metallic base as a cathode.
Abstract: An antitheft device for use on bicycles. The device has three limbs (1,2,3) which are pivotally connected to each other. In, use the limbs (1,2,3) are lockable around part of a bicycle (8) and/or fixed structure in a triangular configuration. When not in use the limbs are unlocked and folded one within another to a rectilinear configuration for storage or carrying purposes. The device has the advantages of being compact in the folded position to facilitate storage on part of the bicycle frame.
Abstract: A watch display package includes a wedge-shaped housing which is formed from a folded paperboard blank, and an easel-like display member, which is also made of folded paperboard. The housing has an inclined front panel and a display opening in the front panel. The display member is inserted into the housing and it is operative for holding a watch with the face thereof aligned with the display opening. The housing is further provided with a hinged panel that may be positioned to cover the display opening in a shipping mode. In a display mode, the panel may be bent rearwardly and releasably secured in its rearwardly bent portion so that the watch is readily viewable through the display opening.
Abstract: A rotational moulding apparatus includes a device (5) disposed inside the mould for measuring temperature. A processor (6) forming part of a feedback tool (7) enables real time monitoring and control of the moulding process. Identifiable points on the temperature time moulding characteristic are employed to control the operation of the apparatus to optimise the properties of the mouldings obtained.
Abstract: A collective connection device for wire conductors of electrical power distribution systems accommodates a compact arrangement of a multiple number of smaller and larger terminal blocks on a busbar. The busbar of the device is divided into two primary decks respectively located at the first and second ends of the busbar and upper and lower centrally located decks which form an electrical bridge between the primary end decks.

Abstract: A heating and cooling device comprising a box type heat exchange tank containing a heat transfer medium having an thermal accumulation effect therein and a heat exchange pipe arranged in said heat exchange tank. An air discharging member is mounted to an outlet of the heat exchange pipe and provided with a fan for blowing air in the heat exchange pipe into a room. An air suction member connected to said inlet of the heat exchange pipe, to suck outside air and supply it into the heat exchange pipe, A heater is disposed just below said air suction member, to heat an air entering the air suction member in a heating operation of the device. A cooling chamber is also disposed, to cool the heat transfer medium in the heat exchange tank. A water pump may be disposed below the heat exchange tank, so as to pump a relatively cold underground water into the heat exchange tank. The underground water is used as the heat transfer medium for a cooling operation of the device.
Abstract: A display tray is adjustable for receiving and displaying differently sized plates and bowls. The tray includes a bottom wall, a pair of side walls connected thereto by living hinges such that the side walls can be moved to different angular positions, and a front wall. The bottom wall and side walls are further provided with rib elements which engage the plates and act as frictional treads to prevent the plates and bowls from tipping over. In order to maintain the side walls in the desired angular position a comb-like partition having a plurality of teeth is provided. The partition extends through slots in the side walls so that the side walls can be snapped in between any two adjacent teeth. To further maintain the side walls in the desired angular position wire rods are provided having front bent ends which are adapted to be inserted into receptacles which are provided on the inner surface of the front wall.
Abstract: A game apparatus is provided for playing a game which tests the memories of game players. The apparatus includes a base, a rotatable disk mounted on the base, and a cover mounted on the base above the disk. A clutch mechanism is provided for rotating the disk, and a braking mechanism is provided for stopping rotation of the disk in one of a plurality of predetermined positions. The cover includes a plurality of spaced apertures and the disk includes a plurality of groups of matched pictures which are oriented so that a plurality of matched pairs of pictures are aligned with the apertures when the disk is stopped in one of the predetermined positions.
Abstract: A male conductor plug for a cord set includes a bi-metallic circuit breaker. The positive, neutral and ground blades extend outwardly from the front end of the plug housing and the reset switch of the circuit breaker extends outwardly from the rear end of the housing. A circular wall extends outwardly from the rear of the housing to form a socket-like enclosure around the reset switch and a flexible water resistant boot is received over the reset switch and inside the wall to prevent the introduction of moisture into the circuit breaker.
Abstract: A descending ball game apparatus includes a gate deflect channel member and a pivoting ramp channel member. The gate deflect channel member includes two gates which are positioned adjacent to opposing sidewalls of a channel portion thereof and are operative for deflecting a ball back-and-forth from one sidewall of the channel portion to the other sidewall thereof as the ball descends along the channel portion. The pivoting ramp channel member includes upper and lower level channel segments and a pivoting ramp positioned therebetween. The ramp is operative for receiving a ball descending along the upper level of the channel segment and delivering the ball into the lower level channel segment.

Abstract: A tamper proof device is assembled with a pierced earring and clutch wherein it is operative for indicating if the pierced earring and clutch are subsequently disassembled. The tamper proof device includes an outer ring portion, an inner disc portion having a tapered central aperture and a plurality of break-away gates which extend radially outwardly from the disc portion and merge with the ring portion. The clutch is received within the ring portion wherein it is held in position by a plurality of inwardly extending protuberances, and the earring post is received through the tapered aperture and into the clutch. The tapered aperture in the disc portion frictionally engages a groove in the earring post so that when the earring post and clutch are pulled apart, the disc portion breaks away from the ring portion.
Abstract: A toy projector (10) is equipped with a light source (11), a non-light-transmitting member (13) having at least one light-transmitting part (14) which transmits the light from the light source (11), a member (15) having light-transmitting designs provided in a direction other than the direction in which the light-transmitting portion (14) has been placed with respect to the light source (11) , a mirror (19) reflecting the said design, and a lens (17) arranged between the said mirror (19) and the member (15) having the said design. The light from the said at least one light-transmitting part (14) and the design reflected by the said mirror (19) are projected on to the same surface.
